THE POWER OF OUR PRAYER AND THE RESULTS COMES DIRECTLY FROM OUR FAITH

PRAYER IS A POWERFUL THING ! It is a statement that I have heard many, many times. I know that it is true. I have seen it bring incredible results. I have experienced full on miracles of healing, deliverance from sin and struggles, even spiritual conflict and warfare come to an end in God’s Purpose and Authority in my own life and those of family and friends. Prayer is truly amazing, but it can be challenging as well ! This also ushers in the conversations that many of us including myself have had with God when prayers don’t seem to be answered. When prayers can seemingly become fruitless and agonizing. “Why God ?” “Why aren’t you hearing me ?” “Why are my prayers going unanswered ?” This opens up so many possibilities in our minds. Is God really there ? Have I done something to anger Him, so He rejects me ? Am I praying for the wrong things, or something He doesn’t want for me ? Am I crazy to think He sees me with all that is going on in the world ? Am I worthy to approach Him ? On and on the mind works it’s amazing deductions, and sadly ends up in two distinct places. UNBELIEF OR DOUBT. They are two similar places, but Very Different in terms of Prayer. Unbelief is a rejection of God, which is SIN. Doubt is a weakness of FAITH ! The distinction is massive, because doubt can be lessened and defeated. Unbelief is a fatal flaw and must be confessed and be repented from. In his book, DEEP FAITH, Dr. Rob Reimer does an incredible job of exploring FAITH, and why developing it truly releases the POWER OF GOD ! His book is so powerful and a must read for all ! Deep Faith effects many areas of our Spiritual Walk with Christ, but a focus on Prayer is super important because it is one of our primary ways to communicate with God and Utilize His Power !

DO NOT BE ANXIOUS ABOUT ANYTHING, BUT IN EVERYTHING BY PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION WITH THANKSGIVING LET YOUR REQUESTS BE MADE KNOWN TO GOD. AND THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING, WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND YOUR MINDS IN CHRIST JESUS. Philippians 4:6-7

THEREFORE I TELL YOU, WHATEVER YOU ASK IN PRAYER, BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED IT, AND IT WILL BE YOURS. Mark 11:24

THEREFORE, CONFESS YOUR SINS TO ONE ANOTHER AND PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER, THAT YOU MAY BE HEALED. THE PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS PERSON HAS GREAT POWER AS IT IS WORKING. James 5:16

Rob’s book puts our prayer into the perspective of three distinct categories : Prayers of HOPE; Prayers of EXPECTATION; Prayers of CERTAINTY. Each of these prayers centers directly in correlation to “Where we are in our Faith.” Attached to each of those positions is how much of a degree of Doubt lingers in our hearts and minds when we approach God. Do you see how totally true this rings as we look inside ourselves ? “ Well, I prayed for this, and I sure HOPE God heard me and will answer me eventually…..translates into Doubt and Uncertainty. “ I prayed for this, and I know that God hears us, His Word tells me that, so I have High Expectations that He will answer….translates into I am growing in my Faith. My doubts are still kind of there, but I really think God will do something. Finally, “ I spoke of a need with God today, and I know He heard me and saw me, and I know He will answer me and make things happen….translates into I cant wait to see God provide and I’m certain HE WILL ! !” I have spent a lot of time in the first two parts of this Journey, and at times they are hard to avoid falling back into….BUT, Growing in my FAITH has truly allowed me to become more Mature and Secure in my relationship with God. How you ask ? BY SPENDING A LOT MORE TIME IN HIS PRESENCE, AND FOCUSING MY LIFE ON HIM, NOT MYSELF. With my Heart in This Place With Him, THE POWER OF HIS KINGDOM CAN BE RELEASED IN MY LIFE ! Jesus had all of His focus on the Father and what He Spoke, God’s Word and Voice speaks LIFE INTO US. God’s Presence and Love COMPLETE US. We are His Kingdom Sons and Daughters. He empowers us. He implores us to SHARE HIM with others that all might receive the gift of ETERNAL LIFE IN HIS PRESENCE ! WOW, WOW, WOW:) My Heart sings and my Faith soars when I let this sink in.

YOU MAKE KNOWN TO ME THE PATH OF LIFE; IN YOUR PRESENCE THERE IS FULNESS OF JOY; AT YOUR RIGHT HAND ARE PLEASURES FOREVERMORE. Psalm 16:11

YOU WILL SEEK ME AND FIND ME, WHEN YOU SEEK ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART. Jeremiah 29:13

ONE THING HAVE I ASKED OF THE LORD, THAT WILL I SEEK AFTER; THAT I MAY DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE, TO GAZE UPON THE BEAUTY OF THE LORD AND TO INQUIRE IN HIS TEMPLE.Psalm 27:4

DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT YOU ARE GOD’S TEMPLE AND THAT GOD’S SPIRIT DWELLS IN YOU ? 1 Corinthians 3:16

Prayer Power. Growing in Faith. They truly are such a key to seeking a close Personal Relationship with Jesus and utilizing ALL HE HAS GIVEN US. Knowing the Gospel and Believing in it gives us Salvation. Sharing the Gospel with others is what Jesus asks us to do, and it is our joy and duty. LIVING THE GOSPEL is what makes our life Rich and Complete ! Take time to review your Faith. Take time to contemplate where you are in Prayer. Getting closer to God each day will vanquish doubt and utterly destroy unbelief. A KINGDOM PRINCIPLED LIFE is just what it says. GOD IS MY FOCUS. HIS KINGDOM IS MY HOME. I LIVE BY HIS COMMANDMENTS AND WAYS. I SEEK HIM CONSTANTLY. HE IS MY HOPE, MY EXPECTATIONS, MY CERTAINTY. MY SALVATION, MY STRENGTH, AND MY LORD. HE IS MY ETERNAL LIFE ! Hallelujah and Amen. SEEK HIM AND DO GREATER THINGS/JAA

TRULY I TELL YOU, THE ONE WHO BELIEVES IN ME WILL ALSO DO THE WORKS THAT I DO. AND HE WILL DO EVEN GREATER WORKS THAN THESE, BECAUSE I AM GOING TO THE FATHER. WHATEVER YOU ASK IN MY NAME, I WILL DO IT SO THAT THE FATHER MAY BE GLORIFIED IN THE SON. John 14: 12-14
