GOD'S LIGHT WILL SHINE THROUGH THE DARKNESS AND FEAR

Almost every morning in Colorado I am blessed to wake up to a bright sunny day. That sunshine is one of a myriad of reasons why I love Colorado so much. The light that shines allows me to begin a day with my eyes and heart wide open to life ! An expectation that the day ahead will hold good things and that I’m blessed to be able to walk around freely, enjoy my neighborhood, and move into my daily tasks with anticipation and a contented joyfulness….but I am not blind to those who don’t have an easy road. For many, facing another day can be difficult and something that feels more like a heavy yoke around their neck, Is that you ? Well I truly have some incredible things for you to ponder, beginning with two very important things. GOD LOVES YOU DEEPLY AND COMPLETELY. GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME, IF YOU SEEK HIM.

OH, HOW ABUNDANT IS YOUR GOODNESS, WHICH YOU HAVE STORED UP FOR THOSE WHO FEAR YOU AND WORKED FOR THOSE WHO TAKE REFUGE IN YOU, IN THE SIGHT OF THE CHILDREN OF MANKIND. Psalm 31:19

THE LORD IS GOOD TO THOSE WHO WAIT FOR HIM, TO THE SOUL WHO SEEKS HIM. Lamentations 3:25

HOW PRECIOUS IS YOUR STEADFAST LOVE, O GOD ! THE CHILDREN OF MANKIND TAKE REFUGE IN THE SHADOW OF YOUR WINGS. Psalm 36:7

Today I see a lot of fear and darkness in the places I go. There are so many people fixating on not getting the dreaded Covid 19 virus and perhaps getting sick, and even less probable, dying. I myself refuse to live like that, because life in abundance and enjoyment means a lot to me, and I am going to Trust In God To Care For Me. When it is my time to die, it is my time. In the meantime, I am going to share the Gospel and the light of God to everyone I meet ! I will also exercise Grace to people who have a reason to be cautious with their health, but I WILL NOT LET FEAR OR TYRANNY RULE MY THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS. It would be easy for me to write with an activist agenda at times, but God has truly told me to focus on helping people to learn how to seek Him, trust Him, and let His light shine into their lives. I am dedicated to work on becoming more like Christ, and sharing the things that God has shown me in my life to hopefully spark your heart and mind to be Reborn In Christ Jesus. If you set your mind to a plan that will move you into God’s Word and let you see His Character, then you can begin to talk to Him in a personal relationship kind of way. God is not far away. God is not difficult to approach and talk to. God is always looking at you and His desires for you are filled deeply with His love for you. BUT YOU HAVE TO REACH OUT TO HIM ! If you can find the place in your heart to seek Him, He will not disappoint you. Also understand that when you seek Him, seek Him from a place of Humility. I have found that when I approach God with a laundry list of all the things I need and I want, done my way, a lot of times I don’t see results or hear answers. GOD IS GOING TO MOVE YOUR LIFE AND PURPOSE IN HIS WILL, NOT YOURS ! Seeking His help, pouring out your heart to Him , and importantly asking Him for His will to be done in all you need will truly bring you Joy and Peace. It may look a little different than what you expected, and it may take a little longer, but it will be oh so fulfilling.

HUMBLE YOURSELVES, THEREFORE, UNDER GOD’S MIGHTY HAND, THAT HE MAY LIFT YOU UP IN DUE TIME. CAST ALL YOUR ANXIETY ON HIM BECAUSE HE CARES FOR YOU. 1 Peter 5:6-7

BUT BECAUSE OF HIS GREAT LOVE FOR US, GOD, WHO IS RICH IN MERCY MADE US ALIVE WITH CHRIST EVEN WHEN WE WERE DEAD IN TRANSGRESSIONS- IT IS BY GRACE THAT YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED. Ephesians 2: 4-5

THE LORD YOUR GOD IS WITH YOU, THE MIGHTY WARRIOR WHO SAVES. HE WILL TAKE GREAT DELIGHT IN YOU; IN HIS LOVE HE WILL NO LONGER REBUKE YOU, BUT WILL REJOICE OVER YOU WITH SINGING. Zephaniah 3:17

God brings light into the world. God brings light into our lives each and every day. There are plenty of times when I look at all that is going on that I can feel the darkness. I can feel the fear….but God is not about those things. As His Kingdom Citizens, it is our role to BRING HIS MESSAGE AND LIGHT INTO THE WORLD :) There may come a time when I will be standing as a warrior, and I spend a lot of time making sure that the ARMOR OF GOD is solidly on me, girded for the battle that we are told and know is coming, but foremost until that time I will be diligent in sowing seeds of hope, love, and truth no matter the cost. Speak God’s Truth, Speak God’s Ways and Commands, Teach, Sharpen, and Admonish as needed,…but do it all in the understanding that God alone shall judge men’s hearts. Our purpose is to share Him with Love. A strong and steady Love. A Love that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Shine the light of God in all that you say and do. Be a light to your family, friends, and all that you meet. He is beside you, and He is smiling :) Believe it/JAA

FOR I AM CONVINCED THAT NEITHER DEATH, NOR LIFE, NEITHER ANGELS NOR DEMONS, NEITHER THE PRESENT OR THE FUTURE, NOR ANY POWERS, NEITHER HEIGHT NOR DEPTH, NOR ANYTHING ELSE IN ALL CREATION, WILL BE ABLE TO SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD. Romans 8:37-39
