THE IMPORTANCE OF FAITH IN DIFFICULT TIMES

I AM SO THANKFUL FOR MY FAITH !!! 2020 has been a year that has truly been full of some of the most difficult times and difficult experiences that I have ever seen people have to face. It is easy to have your faith challenged in the midst of difficult circumstances. It is easy to wonder why things happen. I am currently in one of those times. My sister has suffered a stroke, and has been in the hospital now for over three weeks. It hurts so much to see a loved one suffer, and face the uncertainty of where the future will take her and my brother in law. I weep for their struggle and pain, but in the midst of it all, I know that God is there, and I know that they are in His Mighty and Loving Hands. I have Faith that no matter what happens, His Will and His Strength will see them, and my family through this. I know there are so many people who are struggling with things in their lives right now, and for a lot of people, the struggle started years and years ago. The world is a big place, but it is so easy to forget others and just shrink things down to our own little world. But we have a Big God ! He sees everyone right where we are, and He cares deeply for each and every one of us.
GIVE THANKS TO THE GOD OF HEAVEN, FOR HIS STEADFAST LOVE ENDURES FOREVER. Psalm 136:26
SO WE HAVE COME TO KNOW TO KNOW AND TO BELIEVE THAT THE LOVE THAT GOD HAS FOR US. GOD IS LOVE,AND WHOEVER ABIDES IN LOVE ABIDES IN GOD, AND GOD ABIDES IN HIM. 1 john 4:16
HUMBLE YOURSELVES, THEREFORE, UNDER THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD SO THAT AT THE PROPER TIME HE MAY EXALT YOU, CASTING ALL YOUR ANXIETIES ON HIM, BECAUSE HE CARES FOR YOU. 1 Peter 5: 6-7
The beautiful thing about our Faith In God is not only what it gives to us, but what it gives to those around us. If we can call out to God and Trust In Him, it gives those who don’t know Him a reason to perhaps pause….and consider where they are in their own lives. Alone, or with a Powerful and Loving God that they can seek each and every day ! Alone, or with the Body Of Christ that will walk beside them and be in fellowship and support no matter how difficult things get ! Our Faith not only works powerfully in our lives, but it also shines the Light into the lives of those around us who are searching for a foundation and meaning in their own lives. Faith is that one true thing that you can hold on to, and even more importantly Move In to make a difference in a world that is totally afloat in brokenness. By moving in your faith, YOU SHOW OTHERS THE AMAZING LOVE AND POWER OF GOD !
AND WITHOUT FAITH, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM, FOR WHOEVER WOULD DRAW NEAR TO GOD MUST BELIEVE THAT HE EXISTS AND THAT HE REWARDS THOSE WHO SEEK HIM. Hebrews 11:6
FOR EVERYONE WHO IS BORN OF GOD OVERCOMES THE WORLD. AND THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD-OUR FAITH. 1 John 5:4
IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE UP THE SHIELD OF FAITH, WITH WHICH YOU CAN EXTINGUISH ALL THE FLAMING DARTS OF THE EVIL ONE. Ephesians 6:16
Pick up your shield, and stand strong in your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He promises to walk beside us, and make the burdens we face in life much lighter as we place our Hope and Belief and Trust in Him. In every struggle I go through, I seek Him. In the struggle of others, I Pray Deeply And Faithfully For Their Peace And Comfort. Know that the things God has willed in your Life will overcome the difficulties of the world we are in, and find hope in the Eternal Life that He Promises All Who Call His Name. Be Blessed, and may you find Your Faith and not only live in it, but SHARE IT WITH OTHERS ! Peace/JAA
