DEAR CHRISTIAN, DO YOU HAVE A CAUSE ? DO YOU HAVE A KING ? ARE YOU WILLING TO BATTLE ?

We are living in a world that desperately needs those who follow Jesus Christ to Understand Their Identity and Step Into It ! There is a misconception being espoused by the modern church today that fails to recognize WHO JESUS CHRIST IS, AND WHAT HIS FOUNDATIONAL VALUES ARE ALL ABOUT ! Jesus is often painted as a passive “friend”, who is ok with you no matter what you believe and value, or whatever lifestyle you find yourself in…because He Loves You. THE TRUTH IS THAT JESUS LOVES YOU ENOUGH TO HAVE TAKEN ON YOUR SIN BY DYING FOR YOU ! JESUS IS A KING AND A WARRIOR ! As a WARRIOR, Jesus is NOT OK with a life lived in sin, nor is He ok with sin being ignored or celebrated to make sinners “feel good” about themselves. The GOSPEL calls those who Follow Jesus to “Confess their sins and REPENT”. This means fundamentally CHANGING WHO YOU ARE AND HOW YOU LIVE ! The “Jesus Gets Us” crowd showcases the Relational Part of Christ, but they stop short of any personal need to Get Their Lives In The Right Place of Holiness And Righteousness. When the church uses the “low bar” of cultural acceptance to define “Love”, they totally miss the mark. As Christians we need a lot more in our heart and character than simply loving someone enough to let them “continue” in a sinful life. I Am A Sinner. Far From Perfect. I Still Fall Short….but, I am striving to become mature and more complete through the strength of CHRIST, which flows powerfully through me ! READ COLOSSIANS 1:28-29. Jesus was never “passive”, and neither are We To Be Passive. Ever. Jesus “CALLS US” to a path and purpose…Have you thought about what yours is ? Jesus has given us “Gifts”….Have you found yours and employed it in your life ? Our gifts are beautiful in their Diversity, but they work together to bring us a UNITY AS THE BODY OF CHRIST. A true church builds up the Body Of Christ in Community and Honors God’s Character And Ways. HIS KINGDOM ! Jesus is Our King ! We as citizens should be Honoring Him and Serving Him. ARE YOU ? Jesus made it clear that WE are to be active and deep in our Love For God, and also our Love for others. Not love based on coddling feelings, but rather a love that challenges someone to be the things that God Values. Changes that mature and protect. Reaching God’s will and destiny for each of our lives. Things that direct one to an Intimate Relationship with God, and provide an invitation to Eternal Life ! Accomplishing things of value take “commitment and effort”, not simply mouthing words and proclamations. I write this “blog” to share the Grace and Hope found in Jesus Christ as my Savior, Lord, and King ! The scriptures I post aren’t just for knowledge and understanding; they are part of my Armor ! My Sword as a WARRIOR to deal with sin, temptation, the world, and all the challenges that want to knock me down. GOD”S WORD IS MY TREASURE. IT HOLDS ME UP AND GIVES ME AUTHORITY AND POWER ! I am tired of “surrendering” to culture and foolish mankind the things that God Values. ARE YOU ? Our Children are being “educated” in falsehoods and told to “celebrate” themselves as kings of their own lives….and yet, the value of life is ours to determine, no matter how callous, evil, or disgustingly self serving it may be espoused.

AND NOW ISRAEL, WHAT DOES THE LORD YOUR GOD ASK OF YOU EXCEPT TO FEAR THE LORD YOUR GOD BY WALKING IN ALL HIS WAYS, TO LOVE HIM AND TO WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND SOUL. Deuteronomy 10:12

EXECUTE TRUE JUSTICE, SHOW MERCY AND COMPASSION EVERYONE TO HIS BROTHER. Zechariah 7:9

TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING; IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, AND HE SHALL DIRECT YOUR PATHS. Proverbs 3:5-6

It grieves me to see how far we have fallen as the pinnacle of God’s creation. Our hearts are WEAK as we bury ourselves in our own comfort and aspirations to the detriment of our fellow mankind and the God Who Created Us. How have so many Christians who have lost their mooring and found themselves willing to Give Up Kingdom Ground. Is God’s Truth not worthy to BATTLE FOR ? Grumbling. Grumbling and conversation…but very little ACTION. No taste for the fight; better to surrender and keep oneself safe. Don’t offend anyone. THE APOSTLES OF JESUS CHRIST TOOK HIS MESSAGE AND TRUTH TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH ! They endured beatings, stoning, long prison stays, and ultimately “death” as martyrs…BECAUSE JESUS WAS THE WAY,THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. They had very little, and they walked humbly, but they Had A Cause. SHARE THE GOSPEL. HEAL PEOPLE. BRING HOPE, GRACE AND SALVATION. FREEDOM ! OH ISRAEL. OH CHRISTIAN GRAFTED IN AS “ONE NEW MAN”, WHAT DOES THE LORD YOUR GOD ASK OF YOU ? David slew Goliath; Gideon fought an army with but a few hundred men; Samson killed a thousand enemies with the “jawbone” of a donkey; Joseph conquered a Famine; Judah Maccabee restored the Jewish Temple, JESUS CHRIST CONQUERED DEATH ! WARRIORS. Not willing to accept evil and unrighteousness, but rather “recognize GOD and His Power and Authority….and LIVE IT WITH ACTION AND PURPOSE. It is time for True Christians to STAND FOR GOD and stop accepting the absolute FALSITY of a worldly view of life. Live a Biblical view of life, and celebrate it, speak it, protect it, and Battle For It. I am so blessed to have two incredible church communities that STAND for The Word Of God, and Worship JESUS CHRIST AS OUR KING:) Pastors Jason And Jeff. Illuminate and Brave. Jesus Abides in these powerful Houses Of God. I am Grateful for their teaching and Faith ! I am so blessed to have a wife who loves Jesus, and has partnered with me to give our children FAITH, HOPE, PURPOSE, AND RESOLVE ! My son and daughter have hearts for God, and they love and serve others every day. We have to teach our children to be Warriors, not seekers of self comfort and pleasure. Our lives are Eternally focused, we will be judged for our Kingdom service, and although this place where we are is a vapor, God’s Righteousness and Justice DO MATTER !

BUT OF THE SON HE SAYS, “ YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER, THE SCEPTER OF UPRIGHTNESS IN THE SCEPTER OF YOUR KINGDOM”. Hebrews 1:8

AND THEY SING THE SONG OF MOSES, THE SERVANT OF GOD, AND THE SONG OF THE LAMB, SAYING, “GREAT AND AMAZING ARE YOUR DEEDS, O LORD GOD THE ALMIGHTY ! JUST AND TRUE ARE YOUR WAYS, O KING OF THE NATIONS !” Revelation 15:3

FROM HIS MOUTH COMES A SHARP SWORD WITH WHICH TO STRIKE DOWN THE NATIONS, AND HE WILL RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON. HE WILL TREAD THE WINEPRESS OF THE FURY OF THE WRATH OF GOD THE ALMIGHTY. ON HIS ROBE AND ON HIS THIGH HE HAS A NAME WRITTEN, KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Revelation 19:15-16

Christian, are you ready to embrace your KING ? He died and then was risen up that WE might also live. He asks that we ABIDE IN HIM and let HIM ABIDE IN US. Giving your life to Christ fills you with a desire to serve and please Him; Being obedient to His Will ; Following His Ways and Truth….not the world’s, or your own. More than ever, we need Godly men and women leading and serving our countries, cities, churches, and families who discern, understand, and speak God’s Authority in their words and ACTIONS. May these days be the times that build the fire in your heart to battle for God’s Righteousness. May complacency and conformity give way to TRUTH AND JUSTICE. The Body Of Christ can be Powerful if we Stand Together and Seek God’s Power and Blessing. When the day comes when Jesus returns, I want to be Faithful and Ready….How About You ? May JESUS be THE CENTER of your LIFE :)

BE A WARRIOR/HAVE A CAUSE/STAND IN RIGHTEOUSNESS/ WORSHIP OUR KING/JAA

WHO HAS BELIEVED WHAT HE HAS HEARD FROM US ? AND TO WHOM HAS THE ARM OF THE LORD BEEN REVEALED ? FOR HE GREW UP BEFORE HIM LIKE A YOUNG PLANT, AND LIKE A ROOT OUT OF DRY GROUND; HE HAD NO FORM OR MAJESTY THAT WE SHOULD LOOK AT HIM, AND NO BEAUTY THAT WE SHOULD DESIRE HIM. HE WAS DESPISED AND REJECTED BY MEN, A MAN OF SORROWS AND ACQUAINTED WITH GRIEF; AND AS ONE FOR WHOM MEN HIDE THEIR FACES, HE WAS DESPISED, AND WE ESTEEMED HIM NOT. SURELY HE HAS BORNE OUR GRIEFS AND CARRIED OUR SORROWS; YET WE ESTEEMED HIM STRICKEN, SMITTEN BY GOD, AND AFFLICTED. BUT HE WAS PIERCED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS; HE WAS CRUSHED FOR OUR INIQUITIES; UPON HIM WAS THE CHASTISEMENT THAT BROUGHT US PEACE, AND WITH HIS WOUNDS WE ARE HEALED…..Isaiah 53: 1-12
