OUR WALK IN GOD'S TRUTH AND COMMANDS EMPOWERS US TO SHARE THE GOSPEL AND MAKE DISCIPLES

As I grow older, I am so thankful that God has not only given me the Gift Of Salvation through His Son Jesus, but that He has also convicted my heart to walk in His Ways and Truth. Salvation is but the beginning of our Life In Christ, for the decision to Follow Him directs us to walk a very Narrow Path to truly become consecrated in His Righteousness. Walking His Path also begins our Journey In Responsibility and Accountability to Serve Him and Worship Him as our One True Lord and King. It is a beaconing that requires choice, determination and conviction as well as obedience, trust, and surrender. A point where one gives up everything to God…yes, everything ! Ultimately letting God and His Will determine Our Entire Life. Asking Him to show us His Path and His Purpose, not our own. As incredible as it may seem, there is a true sense of Freedom and Peace in that Choice. How often in our lives do we struggle with the choices that we must make in our earthly existence ? Where will I live ? What will my career path be ? Will I be single or married ? Choices can be Overwhelming at times ! Then there are the times of struggle and questioning. Why did this happen to me ? Why did I make “that” choice ? What should I do now ? Trying to set up a template for our lives can be a great task and very exciting at times….but without God and His Hand upon me, I have found a lot of things become rather empty and hollow over time. Much of the Beauty and Joy of our Life comes when we ask God to hold us and guide us. It is truly because HIS COMMANDMENTS AND LOVE FILL US UP INTO WHO HE CREATED US TO BE:)

BUT YOU ARE A CHOSEN RACE, A ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR HIS OWN POSSESSION, THAT YOU MAY PROCLAIM THE EXCELLENCIES OF HIM WHO CALLED YOU OUT OF THE DARKNESS INTO HIS MARVELOUS LIGHT. 1 Peter 2:9

THEREFORE IF ANYONE IS IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATION. THE OLD HAS PASSED AWAY; BEHOLD, THE NEW HAS COME. 2 Corinthians 5:17

MAY GRACE AND PEACE BE MULTIPLIED TO YOU IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD AND OF JESUS OUR LORD. HIS DIVINE POWER HAS GRANTED TO US ALL THINGS THAT PERTAIN TO LIFE AND GODLINESS, THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM WHO CALLED US TO HIS OWN GLORY AND EXCELLENCE, BY WHICH HE HAS GRANTED TO US HIS PRECIOUS AND VERY GREAT PROMISES, SO THAT THROUGH THEM YOU MAY BECOME PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE, HAVING ESCAPED FROM THE CORRUPTION THAT IS IN THE WORLD BECAUSE OF SINFUL DESIRE. 2 Peter 1:2-4

So, JUST WHO ARE WE ? Are we HIS,….Or are we “The Worlds?” Does it matter ? Is it THAT IMPORTANT ? YES IT IS !!! WE are the Light Of God in Our World. Everyone we encounter in our lives SEES WHO WE ARE AND HOW WE ACT ! In all my imperfection, past mistakes, and daily struggles being a man, father, husband, friend, and stranger, I Want To Reflect God’s Truth and Commands in HOW I LIVE. Not always perfect, BUT STRIVING TO BE ! More Mature; More Discerning: More Loving: More Faithful. It isn’t always easy, and it isn’t near perfect or finished, but I WANT TO DO MY BEST ! Our walk in God’s Truth and Ways have a massive effect on those who SEE US and INTERACT WITH US ! There are so many people out there looking for Meaning and Truth, and WE have a huge part as followers of Jesus to REFLECT HIM in who we are and how we live. TRUE BELIEF AND FAITH WILL SHINE, even through our imperfection and growing pains. FALSE BELIEF AND FAITH will ultimately drive people away, as they turn from Hypocrisy and Religiosity. We were MADE TO THIRST FOR TRUTH AND GOODNESS, because WE WERE MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD ! WILL WE LIVE IT OUT ? WE MUST. IT IS SO IMPORTANT.

FOR AM I NOW SEEKING THE APPROVAL OF MAN, OR OF GOD ? OR AM I TRYING TO PLEASE MAN ? IF I WERE STILL TRYING TO PLEASE MAN, I WOULD NOT BE A SERVANT OF CHRIST. Galatians 1:10

IN HIM WE HAVE OBTAINED AN INHERITANCE, HAVING BEEN PREDESTINED ACCORDING TO THE PURPOSE OF HIM WHO WORKS ALL THINGS ACCORDING TO THE COUNSEL OF HIS WILL. Ephesians 1:11

GO THEREFORE AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Matthew 28:19

We have our marching orders. We know our purpose. God has commanded us to MAKE DISCIPLES. The world sees us. They study us. They are looking at who we are and WHAT WE STAND FOR. OUR ACTIONS MATTER. God has so amazingly through His Love and Grace given us the Hope and Peace that WE may share with others who are searching just as we once did. When I gave my life to Jesus, HE SET ME FREE, I am not perfect in myself. I still sin and fail. I am still being shaped and burnished through fire. But I AM HIS, AND HE IS MINE. Through His GRACE AND LOVE I will meet the world, and know….JESUS OVERCAME IT ! All we must do is STRIVE TO SHARE HIM AND HIS TRUTH AND LOVE. IT”S TIME TO DO IT ! BE HIS LIGHT/JAA

THESE THINGS I HAVE SPOKEN UNTO YOU, THAT IN ME YOU MIGHT HAVE PEACE. IN THE WORLD YOU WILL HAVE TRIBULATION, BUT BE OF GOOD FAITH, I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD. John 16:33
