WE PROCLAIM HIM !

How often do you feel the desire to stand up and shout out the Good News of Jesus ? I believe we are at a time in life and history that for every Christian, this should be perhaps the TOP PRIORITY in our life ! It is one thing to put a personal focus on our relationship with God, but it takes on a whole new and fresh power when we Share Him with the world. It seems to Sharpen Me ! It pushes me to be deeper in my Faith and Walk ! It gives me a fire to have the understanding and wisdom from God to be THE SALT OF THE EARTH AND THE LIGHT INTO THE DARKNESS that we are called to be ! God’s word makes it so clear to me that all that He pours into me is a river of life that must flow out of my heart in love, bringing new beginnings to those who don’t know Him, and renewed resolve and strength to those who do. Christ is the Hope and Salvation for our world and lives ! Never has it been so clear to me that His Truth and His Authority are the True Focus and Purpose for all our lives.
WE PROCLAIM HIM, ADMONISHING AND TEACHING EVERYONE WITH ALL WISDOM, SO THAT WE MAY PRESENT EVERYONE MATURE IN CHRIST. I LABOR FOR THIS , STRIVING WITH HIS STRENGTH WHICH WORKS POWERFULLY IN ME. Colossians 1:28
YOU ARE THE SALT OF THE EARTH. BUT IF THE SALT LOSES ITS SALTINESS, HOW CAN IT BE MADE SALTY AGAIN ? IT IS NO LONGER GOOD FOR ANYTHING, EXCEPT TO BE THROWN OUT AND TRAMPLED UNDERFOOT. “YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. A TOWN BUILT ON A HILL CANNOT BE HIDDEN. NEITHER DO THE PEOPLE LIGHT A LAMP AND PUT IT UNDER A BOWL. INSTEAD THEY PUT IT ON ITS STAND AND IT GIVES LIGHT TO EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE. IN THE SAME WAY, LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE BEFORE OTHERS, THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD DEEDS AND GLORIFY YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN. Matthew 5: 13-16
Are you salty ? Is what you have to say to others bringing flavor to their lives, and also to yours ? Are the things that you do bringing light to others, or simply being focused only on yourself and your needs ? The truth is that right now, the world needs Truth, and the world needs Godly People to bring forth Light and Wisdom. Throughout history, mankind has always moved away from the challenge of embracing a life defined by God’s instructions and desires. The true nature of a Narrow Path is that it is hard to find, and hard to stay on. The wide path is far easier to find and walk upon, and it also gives comfort in the noise and familiarity of belonging to those around you,. Fitting in and not feeling quite as responsible to be Salt and Light. The real question becomes, “ Do you want to be of God, or of the world ?” One decision is going to make you responsible in Proclaiming your God and your Faith, while the other lets you live and walk in obscurity, One requires you to strive in God’s power and move toward maturity, while the other helps you stay in the comfort of simplicity.
SO THAT WE MAY NO LONGER BE CHILDREN, TOSSED TO AND FRO BY THE WAVES AND CARRIED ABOUT BY EVERY WIND OF DOCTRINE, BY HUMAN CUNNING , BY CRAFTINESS AND DECEITFUL SCHEMES. RATHER , SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN LOVE, WE ARE TO GROW UP IN EVERY WAY INTO HIM WHO IS THE HEAD, INTO CHRIST. Ephesians 4:13
UNTIL WE ALL ATTAIN THE UNITY OF THE FAITH AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF GOD, TO MATURE MANHOOD, TO THE MEASURE OF THE STATURE OF THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST. Ephesians 4:13
BUT GROW IN THE GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. TO HIM BE THE GLORY BOTH NOW AND TO THE DAY OF ETERNITY. AMEN 2 Peter 3:18
It became clear to me that God wanted more from me than to simply be a lukewarm Christian, going to church and occasionally praying for this or that. God filled me with a restlessness to really determine what was important to me, and where He fit into it all. I had so many focus points, and activities, and plans. I had such an incredible map drawn out on all I would do ! And in the midst of all my Self Awareness, and Self Focus, God in His Love and Grace took my face and heart in His Hands and said to me, in so many words, “ Hey Jim, it’s time for you to focus your heart on Me. It’s time for your purpose and work to be spent in getting deeper in our relationship, and becoming mature in your faith. I have plans for you, and it will take you a different direction than you might think is your path, but trust me, for it is the path i laid out for you from the beginning. It will be different, It will be a path of learning, struggling at times, being set apart…..but my Yoke Is Light. It is your choice. I Love You, I Created you for this. Be Mine Now. “
WHO SAVED US AND CALLED US TO A HOLY CALLING, NOT BECAUSE OF OUR WORKS BUT BECAUSE OF HIS OWN PURPOSE AND GRACE, WHICH HE GAVE US IN CHRIST JESUS BEFORE THE AGES BEGAN. 2 Timothy 1:9
AND HE SAID TO THEM, “ GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PROCLAIM THE GOSPEL TO THE WHOLE OF CREATION.” Mark 16:15
I am Proclaiming Jesus as my Lord and Savior ! I am sharing Him ! I have given my life and purpose to Exalting Him and bringing the Good News of Christ to the world. I want to be SALTY. I want to be LIGHT. I am so imperfect and sinful at times, and yet HE USES ME FOR HIS GLORIFICATION, and I am humbled and amazed. He chose me to know His Son….and I am SO THANKFUL to be His servant and disciple. I ask you all, isn’t it time YOU PROCLAIM HIM as well ? Our world needs His Truth and His LOve more than ever right now. Will you be Salt and Light ? My prayer is that He will awaken your heart and show you your path and purpose in Him ! May God’s Purpose and Path and Peace be yours ! Proclaim Him/JAA
I HAVE BEEN CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST AND I NO LONGER LIVE, BUT CHRIST LIVES IN ME. THE LIFE I NOW LIVE IN THE BODY, I LIVE BY FAITH IN THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME. Galatians 2:20
