INDIFFERENCE IS NOT A "CHOICE" FOR FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST !

INDIFFERENCE. I see it a lot. I see it throughout the world today. I see it in every single country and society and culture that exists today. Let me define it in no uncertain terms as the world defines it. It means to be without interest or concern; to have no sympathy. To have an indifferent attitude toward the suffering of others. I see it as a complete failure to engage in life. Indifference lets you sit in your own little safe and comfortable space while others are hurting. It allows you to be insulated and apart from the most important thing Jesus teaches us about life and His Kingdom…..LOVE FOR OUR NEIGHBORS, AND STANDING UP FOR THE COMMANDMENTS, WAYS, AND IDENTITY THAT WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN IN CHRIST ! It takes involvement, caring, effort, values, and LOVE AND TRUTH to make a difference for God. Think about it ! Better yet, we all need to open our eyes and our ears and our hearts to God’s Perfect Truth !
LOVE IS PATIENT, LOVE IS KIND. LOVE DOES NOT ENVY, IS NOT BOASTFUL, IS NOT ARROGANT, IS NOT RUDE, IS NOT SELF SEEKING, IS NOT IRRITABLE, AND DOES NOT KEEP A RECORD OF WRONGS. LOVE FINDS NO JOY IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, BUT REJOICES IN THE TRUTH. IT BEARS ALL THINGS, BELIEVES ALL THINGS, HOPES ALL THINGS, ENDURES ALL THINGS. LOVE NEVER ENDS… 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
BEAR ONE ANOTHER’S BURDENS, AND SO FULFILL THE LAW OF CHRIST. Galatians 6:2
MY SON, DO NOT FORGET MY TEACHING, BUT LET YOUR HEART KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS, FOR LENGTH OF DAYS AND YEARS OF LIFE AND PEACE THEY WILL ADD TO YOU. LET NOT STEADFAST LOVE AND FAITHFULNESS FORSAKE YOU; BIND THEM AROUND YOUR NECK; WRITE THEM ON THE TABLET OF YOUR HEART, SO YOU WILL FIND FAVOR AND GOOD SUCCESS IN THE SIGHT OF GOD AND MAN. I write my blog because I want to share my Lord and Savior with everyone. I asked God to give me purpose and a path to serve Him. He answered my prayer, and here I am. I’m praying and asking Him to direct His Words and His Truth through everything I write. I am trying so hard to live in His Love and His grace while also, most importantly, seeking and speaking His Truth. That Truth has to come from HIS WORD, and from the Holy Spirit Guiding Me. God’s Truth and His instructions are what matter ! In my writing, I’m filled with every possible emotion. Joy, and Sadness. Hope and Frustration. Love and Anger….But I Am Not Filled With Indifference. I am not filled with the simplemindedness of Christians who accept the lies, evil, and garbage that society and culture spews into our lives on a daily basis, and calls it love, or compassion, or truth ! God’s Love is for EVERYONE. God’s instruction and hope for our lives sits in His Word, and in His Son, Jesus, and in the guidance of the Holy Spirit which rests upon and in us. GOD”S TRUTH IS PLAIN AS DAY, AND IT IS NOT DEBATABLE ! IT IS NOT CHANGEABLE !
LEAD ME IN YOUR TRUTH AND TEACH ME, FOR YOU ARE THE GOD OF MY SALVATION; FOR YOU I WAIT ALL THE DAY LONG. Psalm 25:5
AND THE WORD BECAME FLEASH AND DWELT AMONG US, AND WE HAVE SEEN HIS GLORY, GLORY AS OF THE ONLY SON FROM THE FATHER, FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH. John 1:14
AND WE KNOW THAT THE SON OF GOD HAS COME AND HAS GIVEN US UNDERSTANDING, SO THAT WE MAY KNOW HIM WHO IS TRUE; AND WE ARE IN HIM WHO IS TRUE, IN HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. HE IS THE TRUE GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE. 1 John 5:20
Jesus was never indifferent. Jesus came to teach and show the world what God’s Truth was. He healed people. He did miracles. He admonished falsity, selfness, and untruthful words and actions. He corrected what needed to be corrected. He fulfilled the law, by taking it past behavior and into a person’s heart and mind to honor, strive for, and become deeper in understanding it and it’s purpose. He gave Himself that we might be alive in Him. Alive,….not indifferent or foolish or selfish. IT IS TIME TO WAKE UP AND START MOVING WITH GOD ! The path to God’s Kingdom is narrow…are you on it ? Are you engaged or are you indifferent ? Are you supporting culture and false love and kindness, or are you ALL IN for God’s Love and Truth ? God is giving us all a choice. Him, and His Truth….or the world and it’s darkness. Jesus is THE WAY, and THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE. Seek Him and Make a Difference in your life, your family, your friends, and your place. Bring His Light and Love where you plant your feet, each and every day :)
