IS THE MODERN CHRISTIAN CHURCH TRULY EMBRACING GOD, OR APOSTASY ?

Have you found yourself looking at the Christian church today and are beginning to wonder if the words and thoughts that many (thankfully not all !) are embracing even find their foundation in the Bible ? I know that I have. I sometimes wonder if some of these institutions have ever opened the Bible, let alone even sought out the Holy Spirit, Jesus, or the Father for deeper understanding. The Word of God is very clear in what it says about mankind and our roles, genders, and our instruction on how to live, and yet So Many Churches Reject The Complete And Inerrant Word Of God For Their Own Ways And Made Up Stuff ! And we should not be surprised, because from the very beginning, mankind has fought against the deity and sovereignty of the One True God ! It was prevalent in the time of Jesus, and it is prevalent today as well. Arguments abound about God, His Word, His Ways, His Authority, His Power, and yes, even His Existence ! I believe all of this has already been addressed by God and His Word in a way that should make things very clear to us.

LOOK, I HAVE TAUGHT YOU STATUTES AND ORDINANCES AS THE LORD MY GOD HAS COMMANDED ME, SO THAT YOU MAY FOLLOW THEM IN THE LAND THAT YOU ARE ENTERING TO POSSESS. CAREFULLY FOLLOW THEM, FOR THIS WILL SHOW YOUR WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING IN THE EYES OF THE PEOPLES. WHEN THEY HEAR ABOUT ALL THESE STATUTES, THEY WILL SAY, ‘THIS GREAT NATION IS INDEED A WISE AND UNDERSTANDING PEOPLE.’ “ FOR WHAT GREAT NATION IS THERE THAT HAS A GOD NEAR TO IT AS THE LORD OUR GOD IS TO US WHENEVER WE CALL TO HIM ? “AND WHAT GREAT NATION HAS RIGHTEOUS STATUTES AND ORDINANCES LIKE THIS ENTIRE LAW I SET BEFORE YOU TODAY ? Deuteronomy 4: 5-8

SEE TO IT THAT NO ONE TAKES YOU CAPTIVE THROUGH PHILOSOPHY AND EMPTY DECEPTION, ACCORDING TO THE TRADITION OF MEN, ACCORDING TO THE ELEMENTARY PRINCIPLES OF THE WORLD, RATHER THAN ACCORDING TO CHRIST. Colossians 2:8

BUT THE SPIRIT EXPLICITLY SAYS THAT IN LATER TIMES SOME WILL FALL AWAY FROM THE FAITH, PAYING ATTENTION TO DECEITFUL SPIRITS AND DOCTRINES OF DEMONS. 1 Timothy 4:1

DO NOT THINK THAT I HAVE COME TO ABOLISH THE LAW OR THE PROPHETS; I HAVE NOT COME TO ABOLISH THEM BUT TO FULFILL THEM. Matthew 5:17

So, here was God, giving His people a perfect template on how to live, how to worship, how to see Truth and gain Understanding, and yet, mankind and religion seek to change things and trust in mankind’s thoughts and “new” truth and understanding ? Some also teach that once Jesus came, the Commandments of God became irrelevant, because Jesus fulfilled them and gave us a magic pill for all our sinful behavior to continue because we are saved. In Hebraic, “fulfill” actually means to realize, to exercise, and to implement. JESUS FULFILLED THE COMMANDMENTS BY IMPLEMENTING AND LIVING THEM IN HIS LIFE !!! In my heart and mind, Jesus was there right from the beginning as God. I AM ! I believe that Jesus authored the Commandments and modeled them as a man on earth so that we might have a perfect and sinless teacher to learn from, striving to abide in Him that we might live in His Ways as He abides in us. It seems like this should be pretty clear, and yet, it is not. I encourage you to read God’s Word and seek out answers for yourself ! Church can be a great place to learn and fellowship, but it is in your own relationship with God that the Truth becomes most evident and MOST RELEVANT.

Scripture teaches us that Jesus Himself is Our High Priest. As our High Priest, Jesus continually brings us before God. Is that truly Incredible for us as believers, and does it fill you with Joy and Peace, and Hope ? It Should :) How amazing that God through Jesus has provided perfect instructions on how to live, and also provided us with a Lord and King who implemented and lived that instruction,….and gave us the ultimate Grace Of Salvation when we failed to implement and live it ourselves. THAT IS COMPLETE TRUTH, COMBINED WITH PERFECT GRACE ! Our choice is pretty simple. We understand the Truth and Grace of Jesus as our connection to the Father, and we follow and believe in all Jesus says and is, and has done for our salvation and re-birth through His death and resurrection…..or we jump into an apostate life. Meaning, we reject Jesus and His Instruction. Or we pick and choose parts of it. Or we give up some bad things in our fleshly life, but we hang on tight to others. We want salvation, but we don’t repent. We want a savior, but we don’t want a Lord, and we don’t want His Kingship or His Kingdom because we want our own. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because there were no righteous people anywhere in these cities. Despite all of Abraham’s pleading, the one thing God will not absolve mankind of is complete unrighteousness and rejection of His Salvation and Grace through Jesus. And yes, God’s Word makes it really clear !

FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS LIVING AND EFFECTIVE AND SHARPER THAN ANY DOUBLE EDGED SWORD, PENETRATING AS FAR AS THE SEPARATION OF SOUL AND SPIRIT, JOINTS AND MARROW. IT IS ABLE TO JUDGE THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTIONS OF THE HEART. NO CREATURE IS HIDDEN FROM HIM, BUT ALL THINGS ARE NAKED AND EXPOSED TO THE EYES OF HIM TO WHOM WE MUST GIVE AN ACCOUNT. THEREFORE SINCE WE HAVE A HIGH PRIEST WHO HAS PASSED THROUGH THE HEAVENS-JESUS, THE SON OF GOD-LET US HOLD FAST TO OUR CONFESSION. FOR WE DO NOT HAVE A HIGH PRIEST WHO IS UNABLE TO SYMPATHIZE WITH OUR WEAKNESS, BUT ONE WHO HAS BEEN TEMPTED IN EVERY WAY AS WE ARE, YET WITHOUT SIN. THEREFORE LET US APPROACH THE THRONE OF GRACE WITH BOLDNESS, SO THAT WE MAY RECEIVE MERCY AND FIND GRACE IN A TIME OF NEED. Hebrews 4: 12-16

Thankfully in a world where there is constant change and so much difficulty it seems in simply finding the Truth, there stands Jesus. Knocking on the door of your life and heart to invite Him in. To believe in His love for you. To trust Him and be re-born into a New Life In Him. Seek Him, pray for His help and guidance and show you the path to Eternal Life in His Kingdom. And guess what. JUST LIKE JESUS WE ARE ALSO TO BE PRIESTS IN GOD’S KINGDOM. CONSTANTLY SHARING HIS WORD AND BRINGING OTHERS IN PRAYER TO THE FATHER. BE A PRIEST AND DISCIPLE MAKER/JAA

THE SUM OF YOUR WORD IS TRUTH, AND EVERY ONE OF YOUR RIGHTEOUS RULES ENDURES FOREVER. Psalm 119:160
