MOVING FROM SALVATION TO SANCTIFICATION

1/27/2020

I am so thankful to God that i have been saved ! As a Christian, the centerpiece of my faith is my belief in Jesus as my Savior, Lord, and King. It is the most important part of who I am, and it allows me access to the Father, and to the Kingdom of God. The scriptures plainly tell us that in order to be saved and in relationship with the Father, that we must realize that we are dead in our sins. We must acknowledge that Jesus took on our sins and died on the cross for us personally. We must die to self, and be reborn into Him, becoming a new creature. We acknowledge that death could not hold Him, and Jesus rose from the grave unto the Father in Heaven, and sits at His right hand. Upon salvation, we are indwelled with the Holy Spirit of God, who guides us in our lives each day. The Holy Spirit burns within us and draws us closer to God and His ways. Indeed salvation is that amazing moment when we become a child of God, and we embrace the promise of Eternal Life in and with Him.

FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALLEN SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD Romans 3:23

THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH, BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD. Romans 6:23

IF YOU DECLARE WITH YOUR MOUTH , “JESUS IS LORD”, AND BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, YOU WILL BE SAVED. Romans 10:9

JESUS SAID TO HIM, “ I AM THE WAY, AND THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME”. John 14:6

The important thing that seems at times to be lost among Christians today is the burning question, “Where do I go from here” ? i believe that God wants us to move ever and ever closer to Him once we have the gift of salvation. I believe that we begin the task of becoming set apart from who we used to be, and we become more and more Holy in how we think, what we do, and how we live. It is a process of getting rid of fleshly desires and moving into spiritual wisdom and God’s grace. We repent where we need to, and we change into who God has created us to be. That means shedding our old habits and desires and creating a life focused on righteousness and holiness. A life that yearns and thirsts for Maturity, not childishness. As we begin to climb higher and higher in our relationship with God, it becomes of paramount importance to be constantly in His Word, and to grow deeper and more mature in our prayer life. Scripture is incredibly deep, and the more you read it, the more amazing it becomes. Layer after layer of truth and understanding become exposed. As one grows it is like having a Holy Fire burn away the things that don’t belong in your life, while the beauty and grace of God and all He has for you is exposed. Jesus spoke often about the Kingdom of God, and how important it was to be prepared and ready to seek it, and to share the hope and joy it promises all who believe.

I HAVE BEEN CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST AND I NO LONGER LIVE, BUT CHRIST LIVES IN ME. THE LIFE I NOW LIVE IN THE BODY, I LIVE BY FAITH IN THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME. Galatians 2:20

MAY GOD HIMSELF, THE GOD OF PEACE, SANCTIFY YOU THROUGH AND THROUGH. MAY YOUR WHOLE SPIRIT, SOUL, AND BODY BE KEPT BLAMELESS AT THE COMING OF OUR LORD, JESUS CHRIST. 1 Thessalonians 5:23

I am saved, and I want to grow in my faith. I am eager to learn everything I can about God the Father, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I want to become more mature and be of greater service to the Kingdom of God. I want to share my God with everyone, that they may know the joy and fulfillment that He can bring into their life. I would desire and pray that none would perish in judgement and separation, but that all might know their creator and live eternally in His presence. You alone have the free will to make this choice, but once you do make it, God will be beside you in every way……and He is ready to see you Grow and Thrive in His Kingdom

Be blessed/JA

THEREFORE IF ANYONE IS IN CHRIST, THE NEW CREATION HAS COME. THE OLD HAS GONE, THE NEW IS HERE. 2 Corinthians 5:17
