IS IT TIME FOR CHRISTIANS AND THE CHURCH TO REALIZE THAT WHAT WE SURRENDER WILL BE REPLACED ?

When I began writing my blog a few years ago, I was convicted to try and keep my focus on things that would truly bring people to a place that they realized the need for Jesus in their lives, and that they might see and feel the absolute love and peace that He alone can bring to their life. Building a relationship of faith and belief that could Never Be Shaken ! It has become even more apparent to me now that it is way beyond time for people to stop living their lives for self gain, self importance and self adulation and instead SEEK GOD AND HIS KINGDOM ! There are many people who are so wrapped up in the comfort of life in America that it doesn’t come as a huge surprise that God is an afterthought or even a non thought. It grieves me to see the absolute division and distrust that seems to course through our nation and society like a rabid animal. This spirit of hatred and destruction has always existed, but now it seems emboldened and rushing forward without check or resistance. I see the concern on the faces of people in my circle and yet some seem oddly detached from it. Everything is fine. In the mean time, just go and enjoy your life. Everything is fine. IS IT ? And so, I spend a lot of time in God’s Word, because I KNOW THAT TRUTH RESIDES IN HIS WORD ! From the history of the Torah, I see the plight of mankind from the very beginning and the thousands of years that portrayed the struggle of men to interact and relate to the GOD WHO CREATED THEM. To say our existence has been tumultuous would be an understatement indeed ! I could spend a lot of time on many sad events and cultural rot, but alas, there is a POINT to my writing this week. CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS AND HE IS RISEN ! Jesus came to show us THE FATHER, and HE DIED, that we might regain our relationship with HIM !

AND THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US, AND WE HAVE SEEN HIS GLORY, GLORY AS OF THE ONLY SON FROM THE FATHER, FULL OF GRACE AND TRUTH. John 1:14

LEAD ME IN YOUR TRUTH AND TEACH ME, FOR YOU ARE THE GOD OF MY SALVATION; FOR YOU I WAIT ALL THE DAY LONG. Psalm 25:5

AND WE KNOW THAT THE SON OF GOD HAS COME AND HAS GIVEN US UNDERSTANDING, SO THAT WE MAY KNOW HIM WHO IS TRUE; AND WE ARE IN HIM WHO IS TRUE, IN HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. HE IS THE TRUE GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE. 1 John 5:20

The church today stands at a crossroad. Sadly, Christianity is a mixed bag today. Many churches have become so afraid of alienating sinners that they have openly decided to celebrate their sin:( Others have fallen into the category of forgetting that JESUS IS THE FOCUS, and He is barely mentioned at all. PRAISE GOD for the churches that Openly and Boldly PROCLAIM JESUS AS LORD AND KING ! What is abundantly clear is that when Christianity surrenders to delusion and falsehood, people suffer ! Things and ways of life that are valuable and important are lost. When we surrender God’s Truth and His Ways to worldly passion and foolishness, Evil fills the void….and also Complacency. When Jesus came to our world, He came to teach us and guide us to understand the things in life that are important. His years as a “Rabbi” were spent helping average people see GOD in the light of a Father. A Father who loved his children enough to guide them into Righteousness and Truth….not simply shrug off their behavioral impropriety and wrong understanding. Jesus spoke TRUTH AND CLARITY ! And He did it in an amazingly loving and encouraging way ! Is there any better feeling as a parent than seeing your child overcome their own immaturity and actually embrace what is good, right, and true; allowing them to become wise, humble and complete ? When Jesus spoke of Commandments, we know He followed them and fulfilled them and He gave us the template for our lives ! LOVE GOD WITH ALL YOU ARE, AND LOVE OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LOVE YOURSELF. Truth is in reality a very simple thing.

DO NOT BE CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD, BUT BE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWAL OF YOUR MIND, THAT BY TESTING YOU MAY DISCERN WHAT IS THE WILL OF GOD, WHAT IS GOOD, ACCEPTABLE AND PERFECT. Romans 12:2

THE TIMES OF IGNORANCE GOD OVERLOOKED, BUT NOW HE COMMANDS ALL PEOPLE EVERYWHERE TO REPENT, BECAUSE HE HAS FIXED A DAY ON WHICH HE WILL JUDGE THE WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY A MAN WHOM HE HAS APPOINTED; AND OF THIS HE HAS GIVEN ASSURANCE TO ALL BY RAISING HIM FROM THE DEAD. Acts 17:30-31

FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS BEEN BORN OF GOD OVERCOMES THE WORLD. AND THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD-OUR FAITH. 1 John 5:4

This is a week to go deep into your life and see just where you stand. Are your feet planted firmly on the Foundation Of Christ ? Are you Living and Abiding in Jesus ? Are you allowing His Will to be done in your life versus your own ? Are you a New Creation with a New Heart filled with God’s Desires ? Are you a Kingdom Warrior, or just an observer and bystander ? Will you Stand For Truth or shrug your shoulders and let Lies fill the void ? WE HAVE A KING THAT IS RETURNING AND HE WILL BE LOOKING FOR THOSE WHO ARE FAITHFUL….Is That You ? Not Perfect….but for sure Faithful. There are certain things that it is good to surrender as a Christian, and there are things that are not. May we surrender our lives and will to Jesus as our Savior, Lord, and King….and may we Never surrender the Truth and Character and Ways that He so lovingly has given us in Mercy and Grace. May this be a week of Meditation and Thankfulness….in the Name Of Jesus !
