SEARCHING ! It never ceases to amaze me how many people I meet are always in a place of trying to find something. Trying to find direction in their lives. It can involve a career path, or the right place to live and put down some roots. Perhaps looking for a relationship with someone, or a community of friends. The eternal search for happiness and fulfillment that seems so Elusive ! Trying to find a secret formula for self worth and IDENTITY. The search encompasses hours and hours of sifting through a myriad of man made wisdom and thought that generally provides very few, if any, answers to our greatest questions and needs. Societal norms and culture try to provide direction, but they are sadly compromised often by selfish goals, deceitful actions or even flat out lies ! What about Religion ? One would think that it would provide some answers, but often “religion” focuses on feeling good about oneself with emotional peace, or a jump on the bandwagon love fest of social justice movements of the moment. Perhaps a behavioral template that will propel one to illumination or a shared drive to destroy everyone with different viewpoints and establish domination. The salient point in all of this is that the focus is always on “self awareness and accomplishment.” WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF WE ACTUALLY FOCUSED ON GOD, HIS WORDS, AND HIS WAYS ? One only has to have the Heart and Spirit to SEEK HIM to find out the answer….are you willing to Make The Effort ?

FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS LIVING AND ACTIVE, SHARPER THAN ANY TWO EDGED SWORD, PIERCING TO THE DIVISION OF SOUL AND OF SPIRIT, OF JOINTS AND OF MARROW, AND DISCERNING THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTIONS OF THE HEART. Hebrews 4:12

ALL SCRIPTURE IS BREATHED OUT BY GOD AND PROFITABLE FOR TEACHING, FOR REPROOF, FOR CORRECTION, AND FOR TRAINING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, THAT THE MAN OF GOD MAY BE COMPLETE, EQUIPPED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

The WORD OF GOD identifies a believer as a member of the Body Of Christ. GOD’S WORD is living and active in our lives, and it binds us permanently to Christ and a life of Faith In Him. Our life is in Him, not the world and all its’ shiny trinkets and false idols. GOD’S WORD is full of wise and prudent ways to live and most importantly an ability to place YOUR TRUST IN HIM ! There is no question that there is a very large lack of trust in almost everything that effects our existence today. So many people around the world are in the grip of desperation and anxiety today. Wars are taking lives and ruining lives. Poverty and struggle flourish in a multitude of countries while greed and corruption seemingly run unchecked. The rule of law is sadly being used as a weapon in many cases against those whom a leadership group views as a threat to their grip on power. WE KNOW from GOD’S WORD that there is Nothing New under The Sun. SIN makes mankind unable to seek or understand Righteousness and a Holy way of living. Only Faith In Christ can bring that into our lives and hearts. LIFE COMES FROM GOD ! HIS WORD tells us of His Love For Us in the GIFT of HIS SON. Jesus gives us ETERNAL LIFE and a place in His Kingdom to Live and Reign by His side. Here in our earthly existence we have the privilege to “Steward” the belongings and blessings that we have been given through His Grace. We are shown a path to Salvation, and a way to mature as obedient sons and daughters of the Most High God. Our path is to grow deeper in Relationship and Faith as we have become a New Creation ! One must come to the realization that WE HAVE A CHOICE. Life In Christ, or eternal suffering without Him….it seems very obvious to me, but many choose to reject Him…. I pray for them and hope they will awaken to His Truth.

JESUS SAID TO THEM, “I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE; WHOEVER COMES TO ME SHALL NOT HUNGER, AND WHOEVER BELIEVES IN ME SHALL NOT THIRST. John 6:35

AGAIN JESUS SPOKE TO THEM, SAYING, “I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. WHOEVR FOLLOWS ME WILL NOT WALK IN DARKNESS, BUT WILL HAVE THE LIGHT OF LIFE.” John 8:12

WHATEVER YOU DO, WORK HEARTILY, AS FOR THE LORD AND NOT FOR MEN, KNOWING THAT FROM THE LORD YOU WILL RECEIVE THE INHERITANCE AS YOUR REWARD. YOU ARE SERVING THE LORD CHRIST. Colossians 3: 23-24

AND WE KNOW THAT THE SON OF GOD HAS COME AND HAS GIVEN US UNDERSTANDING, SO THAT WE MAY KNOW HIM WHO IS TRUE; AND WE ARE IN HIM WHO IS TRUE, IN HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. HE IS THE TRUE GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE. 1 John 5:20

Are you able to SEE THE FREEDOM that the WORD OF GOD will bring you ? Think about the FREEDOM that comes when you have what Jesus Offers ! No Hunger. No Thirst. No Fear. No Doubts and Anxieties. No Worries about Your Future. No Confusion about Truth. You walk in the Light Of Christ, and in your Abiding In Him YOU shine and project light into the darkness around you. How amazing that WE, as disciples of Christ are able to help others SEE AND CHOOSE FREEDOM ! It is so clear that we also find Hope, Peace, Rest, and Joy in Christ. His Commands give us an amazing template on how to live if we hear them. “Love the Lord Your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” “My command is this: Love Each Other as I Have Loved You.” Love. God’s Love. How amazing it is to live and trust in that kind of Love. Love like that is truly what our lives should be all about. I can’t think of a more fulfilling action than that of caring about others and helping them to find fulfillment and true joy ! ALL OF THESE TRUTHS ARE FOUND IN THE WORD OF GOD ! Our task is to spend time in God’s Word and Seek His Truths. Spend time meditating on the things His Word is telling you personally about yourself and your life. Things to focus on. Changes to consider making. Knowledge about God and His People. Commands that will make you a better disciple and find a boldness to share the Gospel with others. KNOW WHO AND WHOSE YOU ARE ! LIVE IN FREEDOM AND COMPLETENESS ! KNOW YOUR FUTURE AND EMBRACE IT WITH JOY ! God is truly wanting to be in an intimate relationship with you through His Son, Jesus Christ:). SEEK HIM AND BE FREE/JAA

“COME UNTO ME, ALL YE THAT LABOUR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST. TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU, AND LEARN OF ME; FOR I AM MEEK AND LOWLY IN HEART; AND YE SHALL FIND REST UNTO YOUR SOULS. FOR MY YOKE IS EASY AND MY BURDEN IS LIGHT.” Matthew 11: 28-30
