WHY THE GIFT OF JESUS IS SO IMPORTANT IN OUR LIVES

I often contemplate just how BLESSED I am to know Jesus Christ as my Lord, Savior, and King. Christianity is so Unique in the fact that it is The Only “Religion” that provides all those who acknowledge their Salvation in the Death and Resurrection of Jesus as their path to Heaven and Eternal Life. Their are a great many religions in our world, but NONE rely on the idea of “FAITH” alone to achive True Salvation and an Eternal Relationship with God Himself. They require a person “Work” to meet certain standards that will allow them to be “worthy” to be in a heavenly realm with God. Christianity is the only religion that believes God came to earth in the “person” of a man, lived among us, and Died For Us; taking on all our sins and shedding His own blood that We Might Be Saved. From Judaism, to Buddhism, to Hinduism and others, mankind must live a certain way, behave a certain way, and strive in himself or herself to achieve acceptable recognition of Goodness. Those who follow Jesus know that they are NEVER going to be able to achieve Perfection and Righteousness on their own. We as Christians MUST BE SAVED BY FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE ! Salvation is not earned by our Works or Efforts. We are simply given an amazing GIFT from The Father through His Son Jesus Christ. It doesn’t take long to realize that on our own, we are simply going to fall short and engage in Sin no matter how hard we try ! The ledger of our life and behavior is going to be full of Sin and Failure no matter HOW HARD WE TRY TO CONTROL OURSELVES. Behavior modification or trying to live up to a set of “rules”never is successful. The important thing about Jesus is that besides giving us the Gift Of Salvation, He also showed us the exact things we should do, and the exact way we should “Strive To Live” through His understanding and living out the Commandments Of God that only HE was able to fulfill. God’s Commandments show us the Way To Walk in Relationship With God. In our Faith and Relationship with Christ, He can Guide Our Hearts and allow the Holy Spirit to dwell inside us as the Perfect Helper.

THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IS THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST TO ALL WHO BELIEVE SINCE THEIR IS NO DISTINCTION. FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALLEN SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. Romans 3:22-23

DON’T THINK THAT I CAME TO ABOLISH THE LAW OR THE PROPHETS. I DID NOT COME TO ABOLISH BUT TO FULFILL. FOR TRULY I TELL YOU, UNTIL HEAVEN AND EARTH PASS AWAY, NOT THE SMALLEST LETTER OR ONE STROKE OF A LETTER WILL PASS AWAY FROM THE LAW UNTIL ALL THINGS ARE ACCOMPLISHED. Matthew 5:17

FOR BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED THROUGH FAITH. AND THIS IS NOT YOUR OWN DOING, IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD, NOT A RESULT OF WORKS, SO THAT NO ONE MAY BOAST. Ephesians 2:8-9

BECAUSE IF YOU CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH THAT JESUS IS LORD AND BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, YOU WILL BE SAVED. Romans 10:9

The key that we all must understand is that OUR SALVATION COMES FROM FAITH IN JESUS ! God first established this point with Abraham. Abraham did one major thing when he heard the voice of God speak to him…HE BELIEVED ! Once he had the Relationship, he Obeyed and Followed God’s instructions on how to live his life. Abraham didn’t gain relationship with God by being a perfect or righteous man, nor did he follow a list of daily behaviors and self reliant wisdom. No. He simply HAD FAITH and let God GUIDE HIS LIFE AND ACTIONS. On his own before knowing God, he was simply another fallen man living in Babylon. Have you ever felt alone ? Living in your own world with no one to see you, hear you, help you ? Struggling along in conflict, uncertainty, sadness, pain, fear, and all the other things that seem to be around us all the time ? Jesus lived in our world. As a man, but fully God As Well, He watched the struggles and the Pain. He watched tyranny, brutality, suffering, poverty and all the other things that we struggle with as men and women. He saw the work of satan, demons, and evil in multitudes of ways. He went through the nasty ritual of satan’s lies and decit, but HE NEVER WAVERED. HE OVERCAME THEM ALL. Most importantly, He provided the path for US to have Him ABIDE IN US AND WE IN HIM ! THIS IS SO CRITICAL TO UNDERSTAND !!! Jesus is offering YOU Salvation and Eternal Life by simply having Faith In Him. Hee is also SHOWING YOU THE TRUE WAY TO LIVE in Truth, Freedom, Hope, and Peace. On our own, we are lost. Putting our faith in Man Made Religion, Philosophy, or Behavior is just another dead end, full of empty promises. What Jesus offers is a NEW LIFE. Reborn in Him, and His Ways. A NEW CREATION by a complete cleansing of your heart by His Shed Blood. This in no Average Gift. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT GIFT AND BLESSING YOU WILL EVER BE OFFERED ! It simply takes a “YES I BELIEVE YOU DIED FOR ME AND THROUGH RESURRECTION SIT AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER” to be saved. It means acknowledging that YOU are dead in your sin, and JESUS is the only WAY YOU HAVE to be in relationship with God The Father and be a Son or Daughter in HIS KINGDOM.

HE SAVED US, NOT BECAUSE OF THE WORKS DONE BY US IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, BUR ACCORDING TO HIS OWN MERCY, BY THE WASHING OF REGENERATION AND RENEWAL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Titus 3:5

JESUS SAID TO HIM, “I AM THE WAY, AND THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.” John 14:6

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. John 3:16

It is my fervent prayer that all who are reading this blog post will seriously take a long hard look at what you truly BELIEVE, and also where you PLACE YOUR TRUST. Jesus makes it clear in His Word that He Wants True Believers in His Gift, and then asks to Be Their LORD. It means giving your own self wisdom and will over to HIS WILL AND WISDOM. HE GUIDES YOU, and in that place you will find your Path and Purpose. If you are relying on yourself it is time to surrender to the Leadership Of Christ. If you are focused on the world, and news, and politics, and chaos leading to fear and anxiety, LET IT GO. Spend your time in Scripture, Prayer, and Fellowship. We are living in a broken world, and the only way to survive and thrive is by being in relationship with Jesus, and Living Out Your FAITH:). May God give you the Heart to Accept THE GIFT. IT IS YOURS IF YOU DESIRE IT AND TAKE IT ! OPEN YOUR HEAR TO HIM/JAA
