THE PROFOUND TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD IS NOT OLD...IT IS ETERNAL !

What is the actual Truth and Value of the Bible today ? Talk about a book that has been at the forefront of so many Spiritual awakenings and miracles….but also a number of arguments, disagreements, and downright rejection and attacks. Some question its reality; perhaps it is just a group of made up stories or mythological hyperbole. Some question its actual premise that there is One True God who created everything; making man in His Image, with dominion over the very place we reside and all the creatures and plant life that we actually need to survive. Don’t forget, we have the theory of Evolution that when truly analyzed falls apart on its most basic ideas, but the world calls it scientific truth….hardly. Some categorize The Bible as just another Religious Book with a different set of rules and suppositions on how to be a better person. It is Outdated. It is Irrelevant to our Modern Age. It is Elitist and divisive. Hateful, wrong, unloving, and of no value. WHAT IS THE BIBLE TO YOU ? DO YOU EVEN READ IT ? IS IT A PART OF YOUR GUIDANCE AND MOST OF ALL TRUTH ? The truth is through multiple studies, only about 5% of people who claim to be “Christians” today actually even read SCRIPTURE ! Along with it, studies show that the majority of Churches are filled each Sunday with people who identify as Christians, but have no belief in Jesus and the GOSPEL. BARNA GROUP POLLING shows that only 9% of the 69% of Americans who claim to be Christian have a “Biblical Worldview”. We believe in “some” tenants of the Bible, but really I pick and choose, and my “Church Denomination” is what is important. I’m a Methodist, so I Do Methodist. I’m Catholic, so I Do Catholic. Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Evangelical, On and On the merry go round spins. IS IT ANY WONDER THAT THE “BODY OF CHRIST” SEEMS LIKE SUCH A HARD CONCEPT TO GRASP ? ARE YOU LIVING FOR JESUS AND FOLLOWING HIM, OR CAUGHT UP IN YOUR DENOMINATION AND ITS TENANTS AND LITURGY ? You may be asking WHY AM I FOCUSING ON THIS ??? IT IS TIME FOR THE PEOPLE WHO PROCLAIM JESUS AS THEIR LORD,SAVIOR, AND KING TO START LIVING WITH “ CHARACTER, CONFIDENCE, AND CLARITY “ ( In the words of Pastor Mark Driscoll ) ! OUR LIVES ARE ETERNAL….NOT FOR THIS TIME AND MOMENT ONLY !

IN YOUR UNFAILING LOVE PRESERVE MY LIFE, THAT I MAY OBEY THE STATUTES OF YOUR MOUTH. YOUR WORD IS ETERNAL; IT STANDS FIRM IN THE HEAVENS. YOUR FAITHFULNESS CONTINUES THROUGH ALL THE GENERATIONS; YOU ESTABLISHED THE EARTH AND IT ENDURES. YOUR LAWS ENDURE TO THIS DAY, FOR ALL THINGS SERVE YOU. Psalm 119: 88-91

FOR THE WORD OF GOD IS LIVING AND ACTIVE, SHARPER THAN ANY TWO EDGED SWORD, PIERCING TO THE DIVISION OF SOUL AND OF SPIRIT, OF JOINTS AND OF MARROW, AND DISCERNING THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTIONS OF THE HEART. Hebrews 4:12

SINCE YOU HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN, NOT OF PERISHABLE SEED, BUT OF IMPERISHABLE , THROUGH THE LIVING AND ABIDING WORD OF GOD; FOR “ALL FLESH IS LIKE GRASS AND ALL ITS GLORY LIKE THE FLOWER OF GRASS. THE SUM OF YOUR WORD IS TRUTH, AND EVERY ONE OF YOUR RIGHTEOUS RULES ENDURES FOREVER. Psalm 119: 160

God’s Word is ALIVE AND ACTIVE. His Word is FOR TODAY ! It has amazing Meaning and Guidance for every person who seeks it On A Daily Basis. The pundits of the world love to tell you how Scripture and The God Of The Bible were only for Times Long Past. THEY ARE LIARS. They seek to change the UNCHANGEABLE with a twisting of Life, Natural Order and Truth into a New Understanding that in reality is not new at all. Satan and his lies have been around for a long time and they are conveniently re-packaged for every civilization and age. It is sad to watch as people are drawn into the LIE of Progressive Ideology and the utter delusion it manifests even in a great many churches. JESUS NEVER PLACED INCLUSION ABOVE THE TRUTH OF GOD”S COMMANDMENTS, NOR THE WAGES OF SIN. Sin was never celebrated, nor was it or will it be acceptable in the Body Of Christ or The Kingdom Of God. Our task as followers of Christ is to Proclaim the Truth, and Show the path to Redemption ! To bring someone we love to a place of Truth and Surrender is THE ULTIMATE ACT OF LOVE ! Eternity has but two endpoints. Heaven or Hell. Eternal Life of Eternal Damnation. No Sugar Coating it. No second chances once our lives have come to an end. Does it sober up your thoughts ? IT SHOULD. We get caught up today in a whirlwind of distractions and delusions…..so did the people in Babylon, and Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Rome, and Germany, and Russia, and China, and Cambodia, and America….The list of people and places never ends, and God sees it all.

FOR WE DO NOT WRESTLE AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST THE RULERS, AGAINST THE AUTHORITIES, AGAINST THE COSMIC POWERS OVER THIS PRESENT DARKNESS, AGAINST THE SPIRITUAL FORCES OF EVIL IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES. Ephesians 6:12

THEREFORE, PUT AWAY ALL FILTHINESS AND RAMPANT WICKEDNESS AND RECEIVE WITH MEEKNESS THE IMPLANTED WORD, WHICH IS ABLE TO SAVE YOUR SOULS.James 1:21

THE SOUL WHO SINS SHALL DIE. THE SON SHALL NOT SUFFER THE INIQUITY OF THE FATHER, NOR THE FATHER SUFFER FOR THE INIQUITY OF THE SON. THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL BE UPON HIMSELF, AND THE WICKEDNESS OF THE WICKED SHALL BE UPON HIMSELF. Ezekiel 18:20

God’s Word speaks of Righteousness and LIfe compared to wickedness and death. IF YOU TRULY KNOW JESUS AND HAVE DIED TO YOUSELF AND SURRENDERED TO HIS LORDSHIP AND AUTHORITY, then you WILL SEE AND UNDERSTAND THE TRUTH. The Holy Spirit resides inside you to give you discernment and wisdom. IF YOU ARE TRULY NOT ALL IN AND WANT TO BE YOUR OWN SOURCE OF WISDOM AND TRUTH, then you ARE LOST. Fence sitting is over. Stop just showing up to church and GET INTO THE COMMUNITY OF CHRIST”S BODY ! ASK GOD to help you get DEEP into His Word and gain knowledge and clarity. SEEK TRUTH and then act upon it. Remember ELIJAH ? Remember JOHN THE BAPTIST ? REMEMBER JESUS ? They all took on the world armed with GOD”S WORD AND TRUTH. They stood up for righteousness and justice when the powers that were in charge stood against God’s Word and Truth. They didn’t chase the things others thought were important. They sought after and lived for GOD. They never saw God’s Wisdom in the past tense. No, it was Real and Meaningful to them, and they embraced it….because they KNEW IT WAS ETERNAL, AND IT GAVE LIFE ! It still does today:) Seek it and embrace it ! TRUTH FOR TODAY/JAA
