EXODUS 2.0 ARE YOU READY ?

It is hard to imagine what the Jewish Exodus from Egypt must have been like, and yet, with the amazing power of God the Jewish people ventured forth on a journey to The Promised Land. It was a journey fraught with peril and a great deal of fear and trepidation, but God in His Power and Authority moved this huge group of people through multiple challenges to a place of new beginnings. Should we be surprised that even as their journey advanced, many would fall into the worship of other gods and idols; leaving the TRUE PROMISE to a future generation while they proceeded to wander and die in the wilderness. The most important things to remember about the Original Exodus story is that God Rescued His Chosen People, and that He gave them His Commandments showing them How To Live In God’s Very Way ! Also important was that GOD WAS WITH THEM, day and night; offering protection and sustenance through all their trials and struggles. Moses was chosen by God to guide and deliver communication to the people despite his past sin and stumbling. He delivered the message to God’s People regarding the Original Passover and the protection from the Blood Of The Lamb to those who had the Faith To Believe And Act ! Moses showed the people who God was in the Truth And Blessings of His Words, imploring them to Worship God and Seek To Live Righteously as God Commanded. Isn’t it amazing that after all God had done for them, many thought it might be easier just to return to Egypt and resume a life of Slavery and Bondage. Freedom seemed like too hard a journey to obtain, and trying to follow God’s Commandments was Just Too Hard ! Should we feel the same today ? Are we willing to give up on God and our faith because our lives without Him are so appealing and easy ? Perhaps we should hear just WHAT GOD PROMISES THOSE WHO SEEK HIM !

BUT, AS IT IS WRITTEN, “WHAT NO EYE HAS SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, NOR THE HEART OF MAN IMAGINED, WHAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.” 1 Corinthians 2:9

What if we, as Christians, find ourselves in an eerily similar place and position like the Jewish People in the time of Moses ? It may seem like an odd comparison, but let your mind consider a few startling similarities. Our world is a canvas full of people who are in bondage to Tyrannical Rulership and control. This control is not just physical, but it is also a ferocious attack upon beliefs, discourse and communication, and also the reverence of TRUTH AND JUSTICE. In Christian circles we have long been allowing the erosion of God’s Word as our standard and foundation. Like the Religious leaders in Jesus’ time period, we find a Christian Church that is more than happy to embrace SIN in the name of Love and Acceptance. Our many denominations are more concerned with their Theological Liturgy and Customs than actually SEEKING GOD’S WORD AND TRUTH. In our lives, we worship a myriad of idols that challenge our TRUE PRIORITIES as we strive to GIVE UP SELF CONTROL AND PLEASURE. The materialistic temptations and choices today are ASTOUNDING ! Comfort and Prosperity are embraced openly in the pulpit by some, and it is hard for many to not see the absolute hypocritical behavior that goes on all around them by those who profess to be Christian Leaders. Understand that I am not talking about the Churches and Leaders that still PREACH THE GOSPEL AND SHARE THE GIFT OF SALVATION< CONFESSION< REPENTANCE< AND ETERNAL LIFE ! It seems to ME, that we are at a time and place where REAL CHOICES ARE COMING. One might say it comes down to “Staying Where You Are And Embracing The World, Culture, and A Broken Church System”, or Beginning an “EXODUS TOWARD TRUE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND UNITY IN THE BODY OF CHRIST !” Can we truly continue to accept the continued devaluation of God, Truth, Justice and Love for rejection and redefinition of all these things ?

DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD OR THE THINGS IN THE WORLD. IF ANYONE LOVES THE WORLD, THE LOVE OF THE FATHER IS NOT IN HIM. FOR ALL THAT IS IN THE WORLD- THE DESIRES OF THE FLESH AND THE DESIRES OF THE EYES AND PRIDE OF LIFE- IS NOT FROM THE FATHER BUT IS FROM THE WORLD. AND THE WORLD IS PASING AWAY ALONG WITH ITS DESIRES, BUT WHOEVER DOES THE WILL OF GOD ABIDES FOREVER. CHILDREN, IT IS THE LAST HOUR, AND AS YOU HAVE HEARD, THAT ANTICHRIST IS COMING, SO NOW MANY ANTICHRISTS HAVE COME. THEREFORE WE KNOW THAT IT IS THE LAST HOUR. 1 John 2: 15-18

DO NOT BE CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD, BUT BE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWAL OF YOUR MIND, THAT BY TESTING YOU MAY DISCERN WHAT IS THE WILL OF GOD, WHAT IS GOOD, ACCEPTABLE AND PERFECT. Romans 12:2

I HAVE SAID THESE THINGS TO YOU, THAT IN ME YOU MAY HAVE PEACE. IN THE WORLD YOU WILL HAVE TRIBULATION. BUT TAKE HEART; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD. John 16:33

THE TIMES OF IGNORANCE GOD OVERLOOKED, BUT NOW HE COMMANDS ALL PEOPLE EVERYWHERE TO REPENT, BECAUSE HE HAS FIXED A DAY ON WHICH HE WILL JUDGE THE WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY A MAN WHOM HE HAS APPOINTED; AND OF THIS HE HAS GIVEN ASSURANCE TO ALL BY RAISING HIM FROM THE DEAD. acts 17: 30-31

Our path as followers of Christ is Crystal Clear ! Jesus came to set us FREE FROM SIN AND THE SHACKLES OF THE WORLD. In HIM we have Salvation and Life, but it REQUIRES AN EXODUS FROM THE WORLD. No more Self Focus. No More ME FIRST. God will Judge Us regarding Our Changed Hearts and Repentance From Sin, along with our Efforts to Share The Gospel and Serve God’s Kingdom. How ? By LOVING GOD AND OUR FELLOW MAN. Teaching and speaking TRUTH. GOD”S TRUTH, not mankind’s truth. EXODUS from your SELF AND SIN. EXODUS from the world and it’s lies. EXODUS from flesh into SPIRITUALLY ABIDING IN CHRIST ! It is so important to realize that as the world continues to spiral downward into moral depravity and the embracement of Evil Itself, WE MUST EXIT FROM IT, and EMBRACE GOD THROUGH HIS SON, JESUS. There will come a day when sadly for many, it will BE TOO LATE. No more excuses. No more delay. Seek the Kingdom of God and It’s Righteousness RIGHT NOW. I have no desire to wander in the Wilderness, knowing that I Missed My Chance To Be In Christ. I Abide in Jesus. I’ve given Him control. I am not perfect, but I strive to turn in Repentance to my sin. I Love God, and I Look to Love and Help others at all times. It is a good place to be….ARE YOU READY ? SEEK,REPENT, AND BE HIS/JAA
