REMEMBERING CHRIST DIED FOR US AND WHAT THAT MEANS

In all of our lives there are times that we need to reflect upon things that impact our identity and our very existence. It’s taking a deep look at who we are, where we are, and where we are going. It is a chance to contemplate the most important things in your life and get a sense of what is truly important, and what is not. As a follower of Jesus, this Holy Week is especially important. It is a week where I can revisit all that Jesus spent His time doing while He walked among men on the earth. It is a time when I can reflect upon exactly what Jesus was sharing with His disciples and the crowds of people that gathered around Him. Most importantly, it shows me in no uncertain terms just How Much Jesus loves Us All to have walked a road that He Knew lead directly to Death on A Cross For Our Sins. A death that was His Choice out of LOVE. IT IMPACTS ME DEEPLY AND IT SHOULD IMPACT YOU AS WELL. JESUS DIED FOR US ! I try to imagine how He must have felt. I think about the scourging and humiliatio and pain He had to endure for us. It makes me realize the incredible plan that God has for all of us from the very beginning. Imperfect mankind, falling in sin. Cast out into the world into the surety of eventual death. God choosing a people, and engaging in their lives. Rescuing them out of Egypt. A Passover Lamb, it’s blood spilled and smeared around their doorposts and lentels to keep their firstborn from destruction. Setting them FREE to follow God and build a new relationship and a NEW LIFE ! All those years and people and bloodlines to bring it all down to ONE MAN, ONE GOAL, ONE GIFT ! SALVATION AND RENEWAL ! JESUS !

HE WAS IN THE WORLD, AND THE WORLD WAS MADE THROUGH HIM, YET THE WORLD DID NOT KNOW HIM. HE CAME TO HIS OWN, AND HIS OWN PEOPLE DID NOT RECEIVE HIM. BUT TO ALL WHO DID RECEIVE HIM, WHO BELIEVED IN HIS NAME, HE GAVE THE RIGHT TO BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD, WHO WERE BORN, NOT OF BLOOD NOR OF THE WILL OF THE FLESH NOR OF THE WILL OF MAN, BUT OF GOD. John 1:10-13

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. John 3:16

BEHOLD, I STAND AT THE DOOR AND KNOCK. IF ANYONE HEARS MY VOICE AND OPENS THE DOOR, I WILL COME IN TO HIM AND EAT WITH HIM, AND HE WITH ME. Revelation 3:20

No matter how difficult our lives may seem at times, KNOW THAT JESUS IS THERE FOR YOU ! Jesus died so that WE MIGHT HAVE LIFE. In our sufferings, Jesus is there with us and for us, never leaving our side. In our Joy, Jesus is there with us, lovingly providing all that we need. Our God is EVERYWHERE ! In America, China, Syria, Israel, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Nevis, Haiti……EVERYWHERE ! His Love and Grace knows no skin colors, no nationalities, no specific places, no boundaries of intellect or status. Jesus Christ is FOR ALL OF US. His Death was to bring LIFE to everyone. THAT is what binds us together as THE BODY OF CHRIST:). Being a part of that body is an individual choice in a one on one meeting with God Himself. No Global Plan. No Governmental Decrees or Orders. Just a Personal Choice from Our Hearts. HE is the true meaning of LOVE, MERCY< GRACE< FREEDOM< AND HOPE ! In Jesus, there is Purpose, Path, and Peace. Life In Jesus is THE ONLY PATH TO RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THE FATHER AND ETERNAL LIFE ! In Him, death has no sting, for in Him, we will be resurrected just as He Was into an eternity by His Side.

AND THIS IS ETERNAL LIFE, THAT THEY KNOW YOU THE ONLY TRUE GOD, AND JESUS CHRIST WHOM YOU HAVE SENT. John 17:3

BUT WHOEVER DRINKS OF THE WATER THAT I WILL GIVE HIM WILL NEVER BE THIRSTY AGAIN. THE WATER THAT I WILL GIVE HIM WILL BECOME IN HIM A SPRING OF WATER WELLING UP TO ETERNAL LIFE. John 4:14

SO THAT, AS SIN REIGNED IN DEATH, GRACE ALSO MIGHT REIGN THROUGH RIGHTEOUSNESS LEADING TO ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.Romans 5:21

So, here we are ! Standing at a place in our lives where we can once again REMEMBER JESUS and all He did for us. So, here we are. Living a Life that gives us a simple CHOICE….will we SEE and SEEK Jesus, or will we live on our own ? Is our path to simply partake of the world and what it offers and simply die…or will we SEEK ETERNAL LIFE ? I CHOOSE JESUS. I am SO THANKFUL I AM HIS. My life is so blessed every day by being His. I can find Him by my side in all the circumstances I encounter, and I can Rest In Him with the assurance that I AM WASHED CLEAN. I AM A KINGDOM CITIZEN OF GOD THE FATHER. No matter where you find yourself, Jesus is always but a step away, knocking on the door of your heart that you might open it up to Him. Perhaps it is time to sit down, close your eyes, and simply speak to HIM. ALWAYS REMEBER THIS : HE LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY:). Bring ALL OF YOURSELF and GIVE IT TO HIM ! DO IT NOW :) JESUS DIED FOR YOU AND ME/JAA

MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE, AND I KNOW THEM, AND THEY FOLLOW ME. I GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE, AND THEY WILL NEVER PERISH, AND NO ONE WILL SNATCH THEM OUT OF MY HAND. John 10:27-28
