THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE
Looking out at the world today, I see a massive amount of CONFUSION and an inability to see TRUTH. In FACT, both of these things are being continually manipulated and challenged to promote misunderstanding, lack of clear thinking, and a destruction of who God created us to be, and how He calls us to live. Biblically, we are told that “We are created in His Image”. Created in Form and Purpose to BE LIKE HIM. We are NOT some random thing that just happened and evolved, for HE HIMSELF created time and results. A great many Christians live their lives today trying to figure out “who they are”, and “how they should believe and live”. Embracing in many ways good things, but often not putting things and thoughts in the Proper Perspective….GOD”S THOUGHT AND HIS PERSPECTIVE. We get confused about “Free Will”. We become myopic on words like Love, Evangelism, Truth, Science, Salvation, and Works. God is complex. So are these words and their meanings. Satan is a master at taking these things and turning them upside down. Taking partial meanings to redefine our discernment and move them into doubt and questioning. Depending on the way we individually view something, the world will define someone who sees a truth according to the word of God as ignorant and hateful. Always defining mankind looking in the rearview mirror at our failures. Without the Saving Grace Of Christ, it is easy to focus on our failures and our sin….BUT WE SHOULD NOT ! Jesus came to set us FREE FROM SIN AND DEATH. He came to earth as fully man and fully God to provide those of us who believe in Him AND ABIDE IN HIM a True and Righteous path to THE FATHER. Jesus reconciles us to a Complete and Loving Relationship with God. Jesus allows us to be Citizens Of The Kingdom.
FOR NONE OF US LIVES FOR OURSELVES ALONE, AND NONE OF US DIES FOR OURSELVES ALONE. IF WE LIVE, WE LIVE FOR THE LORD; AND IF WE DIE, WE DIE FOR THE LORD. SO, WHETHER WE LIVE OR DIE, WE BELONG TO THE LORD. Romans 14:7-9
KNOW THAT THE LORD HIMSELF IS GOD. IT IS HE WHO HAS MADE US, AND NOT WE OURSELVES; WE ARE HIS PEOPLE AND THE SHEEP OF HIS PASTURE. Psalm 100:3
AND YOU BELONG TO CHRIST, AND CHRIST BELONGS TO GOD. 1 Corinthians 3:23
While He was on earth, Jesus said many many things. He taught his disciples parables. He spoke the words of Moses and the Law. He took the whole of God’s word and gave it “meaning” for those with eyes to see and ears to hear. He lived in Perfection, and He was the source of Truth and Life for all who followed Him. He is the same today as He was in those times. ALIVE, TRUTHFUL, AND COMPLETE PERFECTION. When we give our life to Him, we are born anew; born anew into HIS WAY, HIS TRUTH, AND HIS LIFE. We have a complete template on the entire Truth of Life. His Word in Scripture defines it and personifies it for us. His Walk defines Exactly How we should Walk, in the commandments and truths of Him. Loving God with all our strength and souls and minds, and loving our neighbors as well. HE DEFINES LIFE Our Life is Anchored and Found IN HIM, not in ourselves and the world. Alone, we are lost. We find ourselves living in our flesh; seeking pleasure and self gain versus living for Him and His Kingdom. The opposite of A Kingdom Principled Life is A Self Centered Life. Living life in our own way; wallowing in the culture of the day and letting it’s false truths sway our minds and our actions. Thinking ourselves wise, as we wander in darkness and foolishness. Unable, or perhaps more likely “unwilling” to SEEK GOD, HIS KINGDOM, AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. Jesus was crystal clear that our path to The Father lay through Him. HE must ABIDE in our life, and WE must ABIDE in Him. It goes way past simply Believing In Him. WE MUST WALK IN HIS WAYS. WE MUST ACCEPT AND HONOR HIS TRUTH. WE MUST LIVE OUR LIFE AS HE DEFINES IT.
HE HAS TOLD YOU, O MAN, WHAT IS GOOD; AND WHAT DOES THE LORD REQUIRE OF YOU BUT TO DO JUSTICE, AND TO LOVE KINDNESS, AND TO WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD ? Micah 6:8
TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND DO NOT LEAN ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, AND HE WILL MAKE STRAIGHT YOUR PATHS. Proverbs 3: 5-6
FOR WE ARE HIS WORKMANSHIP, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS FOR GOOD WORKS, WHICH GOD PREPARED BEFOREHAND, THAT WE SHOULD WALK IN THEM. Ephesians 2:10
AND YOUR EARS SHALL HEAR A WORD BEHIND YOU, SAYING, “THIS IS THE WAY, WALK IN IT,” WHEN YOU TURN TO THE RIGHT OR TURN TO THE LEFT. Isaiah 30:21
What Voice are you listening to to guide your life ? Is it politicians, or scientists ? Is it famous people, or self help gurus ? Is it just “Yourself ?” Or, IS IT GOD ! Do you find it a coincidence that our political parties are defined as “the left”, and “the right” ? Isaiah tells us that we are to walk a STRAIGHT PATH, GOD”S PATH. Leaning left or right takes us off the path and perhaps gives us trust and faith in the wrong thing ? For each of us individually, God desires us to be in relationship with Him. Scripture is very clear that “JESUS” is the Way, and the Truth, and THE LIFE. Each of us must look at where we are and take those words to heart. We are either Abiding and Walking in Jesus, or We Are Not. It is a CHOICE and there is No Middle Ground. As scripture so clearly puts it, “even Satan and his minions Believe in Jesus….they just don’t Choose to See and Worship Him as the One True God. Sitting in a pew for an hour on Sunday is not achieving all God Wants You To Be. Gaining Knowledge of Him without APPLYING IT IN YOUR LIFE is simply hollowness. As James so aptly put it in James 2:20, YOU ARE FOOLISH, FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS USELESS. Jesus is asking us to be Faithful and ACTIVE. Sharing the WORD OF GOD goes beyond someone’s Salvation. It is CAPTURING THEIR HEART TO LIVE WITHIN CHRIST AND HE IN THEM. GOD”S TRUTH IS NOT NEGOTIABLE TO MEET SOCIETIES TAKE ON RIGHT OR WRONG, OR LOVE VERSUS HATE. God’s Truth is just that…TRUTH. We must embrace it or reject it. We must Walk in Him, or without Him. Jesus defines our Life, or He does not. CHOOSE WISELY, because CHOICES HAVE CONSEQUENCES. His WAY and His TRUTH are the LIFE for ME…..how about You ? CHOOSE HIM/JAA
