ARE YOU READY FOR THE LORD'S RETURN ?

The book of Revelation is compromised of the Prophetic vision of the Apostle John received as he was in exile on the island of Patmos. It is a vision of the End Times that the world will face and all that will occur in the lead up to the Return of Jesus to the earth for a second time. It also speaks of Judgement, the Millennial Reign of Jesus and the Final Wrath that will be poured out upon the nations and people of these times. The vision is one that has created a great deal of debate on its’ meaning, its’ timing, and ultimately its’ reality for us in our faith, our walk, and our Trust In God. Brave Church in Denver has been studying Revelation in a series of sermons entitled “ Alpha and Omega. I strongly encourage everyone to watch or listen to Pastor Jeff as he unpacks the Discernment and Truths that Christians must contemplate as they seek their place in The Kingdom Of God. Revelation will give us a sobering look at the future, and importantly gives us a challenge to see just how deep and serious we are about our faith and our future. The return of Jesus is what all true believers and followers of Him should be yearning for. HE IS OUR WAY, OUR TRUTH, AND OUR LIFE !

FOR I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU, DECLARES THE LORD. “PLANS TO PROSPER YOU AND NOT TO HARM YOU, PLANS TO GIVE YOU HOPE AND A FUTURE. Jeremiah 29:11

BUT THOSE WHO HOPE IN THE LORD WILL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH. THEY WILL SOAR ON WINGS LIKE EAGLES, THEY WILL RUN AND NOT GROW WEARY, THEY WILL WALK AND NOT BE FAINT. Isaiah 40:31

MANY ARE THE PLANS IN THE MIND OF A MAN, BUT IT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE LORD THAT WILL STAND. Proverbs 19:21

COMMIT YOUR WORK TO THE LORD, AND YOUR PLANS WILL BE ESTABLISHED. Proverbs 16:3

So, “ Are you ready for the Lord’s Return ? Have you contemplated what that would mean in your life ? Have you shared the Gospel with those you love the most ? Are you diligently working on your relationship with Jesus ? Are you spending time in the Word Of God seeking Wisdom and Discernment ? Have you put on the Armor Of God and tested how It fits, and how comfortable you are Wearing It and Trusting It ? Have you contemplated Heaven and Hell ? Eternal Life vs. Eternal Separation from God ? Have you been in Prayer every day, and often ? Have you thought about the Holy Spirit and how important it is to feel Filled and Alive ? Have you found a deep desire to see your Spiritual Gifts and what it means for you to use them ? Do you spend each day SEEKING GOD AND WALKING IN HIS WAYS ? Are you spending the time to confess your sins and repenting from these things to feel the refreshing cleansing that YOUR SALVATION and THE BLOOD OF JESUS GIVE TO YOU ? ABIDING IN JESUS AND HE IN YOU IS A FULL TIME, 24/7 COMMITMENT THAT COMES FROM YOUR HEART BY THE LOVE AND GRACE OF AN AMAZING GOD ! It requires you to SEEK HIM and SERVE HIM. You put HIM FIRST IN YOUR LIFE ! It doesn’t mean you stop enjoying the blessings of family, friends, interests, or activities. It Means You Prioritize The Right Things and Spend Your Time Appropriately :) God created us to enjoy life, be joyful, and be in PEACE. He created us to be FREE IN HIM AND HIS LOVE FOR US !

DO NOT BE ANXIOUS ABOUT ANYTHING , BUT IN EVERY SITUATION, BY PRAYER AND PETITION, PRESENT YOUR REQUESTS TO GOD. AND THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH TRANSCENDS ALL UNDERSTANDING WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND YOUR MINDS IN CHRIST JESUS. Philippians 4:6-7

LET THE PEACE OF CHRIST RULE IN YOUR HEARTS, SINCE AS MEMBERS OF ONE BODY YOU WERE CALLED TO PEACE. AND BE THANKFUL. Colossians 3:15

Our world today seems a mess. Things seem unstable and disturbing. All of our foundations as men are in flux. Culture has taken a very dark turn. Leaders seem to be intent on raw power and creating division. Craziness is everywhere, prompting fear and uneasiness. Here is the TRUTH ! GOD HAS A PLAN AND GOD KNOWS THE FUTURE. LIGHT will always overcome darkness, even when the darkness seems unrelenting. FIX YOUR HEART ON JESUS. PLACE YOUR TRUST, HOPE, AND FUTURE IN HIM, FOR HE HAS OVERCOME THE WORLD ! Focus on Christ. The Father alone knows when Jesus will return, but our task is TO BE READY WHEN HE DOES ! SEEK HIM, SHARE HIS LOVE, AND BE READY ! SEEK JESUS/JAA

SURELY GOD IS MY SALVATION; I WILL TRUST AND NOT BE AFRAID. THE LORD, THE LORD HIMSELF, IS MY STRENGTH AND MY DEFENSE; HE HAS BECOME MY SALVATION. Isaiah 12:2
