LISTENING FOR GOD'S VOICE IN YOUR LIFE

One of the most important things for a follower of Jesus to do is listen for His Voice ! I think all of us are prone to do most of the talking as we converse with The Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. It is extremely important to have a personal relationship where discourse comes freely and easily, but are we also listening ? Are we spending time resting in God’s presence to find a place of Peace where we wait for that incredible voice that enters our thoughts, mind, and heart. At times I have heard God’s voice very loudly, and at other times I strain to find wisdom, discernment and answers in the silence. There are many times when the best place to go to hear His Voice is in His Word. The Word Of God can provide so much direction in our lives. God gives us an ordered and clear way to live and think in His Commandments. He gives us a clear historical perspective in the actions and thoughts of the Israeli people that He loved, admonished, and watched over. God has been and is present in every single aspect of our lives ! In thought, in prayer, in worship, in joy, in suffering, in challenge, and in victory. God knows every single moment in our lives. Past, Present, and Future.

YOU MAKE KNOWN TO ME THE PATH OF LIFE; IN YOUR PRESENCE THERE IS FULLNESS OF JOY; AT YOUR RIGHT HAND ARE PLEASURES FOREVERMORE. Psalm 16:11

YOU WILL SEEK ME AND FIND ME, WHEN YOU SEEK ME WITH ALL OF YOUR HEART. Jeremiah 29:13

THEREFORE BROTHERS, SINCE WE HAVE CONFIDENCE TO ENTER THE HOLY PLACES BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS, BY THE NEW AND LIVING WAY THAT HE OPENED FOR US THROUGH THE CURTAIN, THAT IS, THROUGH HIS FLESH, AND SINCE WE HAVE A GREAT PRIEST OVER THE HOUSE OF GOD, LET US DRAW NEAR WITH A TRUE HEART IN FULL ASSURANCE OF FAITH, WITH OUR HEARTS SPRINKLED CLEAN FROM AN EVIL CONSCIENCE AND OUR BODIES WASHED WITH PURE WATER. Hebrews 10: 19-22

Imagine. Christ has given us the Gift Of Purity through His Sacrifice, opening us up to relationship with The Father, and filling us with the living presence of the Holy Spirit. Their presence is with us at all times ! That understanding has truly changed my relationship with my Creator. It has given me the thirst and fire to seek Jesus 24/7. I think about Him all the time, and He is in my every moment. I strive to listen for the leading of the Holy Spirit. I strive to give Thanks, and Glory to The Father. Once you surrender your life to Christ, you are born anew to focus on different things than the world prioritizes. Have You Changed Your Priorities from Self to God ? I promise you that the more you seek Him and build your Faith, the more you will HEAR HIS VOICE. His Voice will show you His Will and His Love for you. A deeper Faith will lead you toward a trust and sureness that HE IS THERE, and He is guiding you in perfect love and completeness.

NOW FAITH IS CONFIDENCE IN WHAT WE HOPE FOR AND ASSURANCE FOR WHAT WE DO NOT SEE. Hebrews 11:1

AND JESUS ANSWERED THEM, “ HAVE FAITH IN GOD. TRULY, I SAY TO YOU, WHOEVER SAYS TO THIS MOUNTAIN, ‘ BE TAKEN UP AND THROWN INTO THE SEA,’ AND DOES NOT DOUBT IN HIS HEART, BUT BELIEVES WHAT HE SAYS WILL COME TO PASS, IT WILL BE DONE FOR HIM. THEREFORE, I TELL YOU, WHATEVER YOU ASK IN PRAYER, BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED IT, AND IT WILL BE YOURS. Mark 11: 22-24

“ BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD. I WILL BE EXALTED AMONG ALL THE NATIONS, I WILL BE EXALTED IN THE EARTH”. Psalm 46:10

Voices. So many voices. The world is full of them. They will certainly have a huge effect upon your life. Those effects can be positive at times, and for sure, they can be equally negative. GOD’S VOICE IS ALWAYS GIVEN TO DIRECT YOU TOWARDS HIM AND HIS KINGDOM IN HIS LOVE FOR YOU…..BUT YOU MUST STRIVE AND WANT TO HEAR IT ! Our lives are full of wants and desires. Hopes and dreams. Difficulties and challenges. What or Whose voice are you listening to ? How are you hearing the things that are going to give you direction and purpose that will move you to be your best and most complete YOU ? I encourage you to spend your day in simple, open, and honest conversation with Jesus. He hears your every word. He is your refuge and you must strive to Abide In Him. Listen for His DIRECTION. Listen for His WISDOM. Be focused on His Presence with and within you, and become reliant on Him to love and nourish your body and spirit. IT TAKES TRUST, AND EFFORT. Build your Relationship. Build your Faith. Jesus Christ came to earth to die on a cross for our sins. He rose from the dead to sit at the right hand of God the Father. Your confession of your sin, and your freely giving your life to Him as your Lord and Savior will change everything in your life. LISTEN….Do you hear His Voice ? IT IS HIM. HE IS CALLING….YOU :) BE HIS/JAA
