UTOPIAN WORLD OR GOD'S KINGDOM ? THE CHOICE IS YOURS ALONE

I have been watching the world around me lately, and I am not quite sure that I like all the things that are going on. So many people seem to be discounting true discourse and we are being pushed in a direction of focusing on differences versus finding unity and commonality. Divided into a tribal system of inward focus on ourselves and mistrust or outright hatred for those who look different, think different, and live differently than we do. The world is determined to cancel what they don’t like, and blame others or a particular social system as the root of the problem. I will be the first to say mankind is not perfect ! As a Christian Follower Of Jesus, I believe that from the very beginning, mankind has been enveloped by iniquity and sin. Adam and Eve teach us that at our very core, we would like to be like God. Knowing everything; In control of our own destiny and future; beholden to no one for our success; having everything we desire. Living in a world that is perfect….and of course, that Perfection Is Built On OUR WAY OF SEEING IT ! The problem is of course obvious. WE ALL SEE PERFECTION IN A DIFFERENT WAY ! As a follower of Jesus, I see perfection in a much different light. There is only one perfection, and that is Our Belief, Trust, Rebirth, and Obedience to JESUS. He is “ THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.”

O LORD, YOU ARE MY GOD: I WILL EXALT YOU, I WILL GIVE THANKS TO YOUR NAME; FOR YOU HAVE WORKED WONDERS, PLANS FORMED LONG AGO , WITH PERFECT FAITHFULNESS. Isaiah 25:1

FOR WE DO NOT HAVE A HIGH PRIEST WHO IS UNABLE TO SYMPATHIZE WITH OUR WEAKNESSES, BUT ONE WHO IN EVERY RESPECT HAS BEEN TEMPTED AS WE ARE, YET WITHOUT SIN. Hebrews 4:15

SEE TO IT THAT NO ONE TAKES YOU CAPTIVE BY PHILOSOPHY AND EMPTY DECEIT, ACCORDING TO HUMAN TRADITION, ACCORDING TO THE ELEMENTAL SPIRITS OF THE WORLD, AND NOT ACCORDING TO CHRIST. Colossians 2:8

AND THIS IS THE TESTIMONY: GOD HAS GIVEN US ETERNAL LIFE, AND THIS LIFE IS IN HIS SON. 1 John 5:11

UTOPIA. It is an imaginary community or society that possesses highly desirable or nearly perfect qualities for its citizens. This is at face value a reasonable goal for our lives and societies.. Happiness, order, health. All our problems done away with. People living together in harmony and love. Economically equal, spiritually one, singular leadership that gives everyone a stable concept and rulebook in how to think, and live. So Benevolent, so Admirable, and so Utterly Impossible ! It destroys the uniqueness of who we are as God’s amazing creation. It makes us rely on the wisdom and motives of those who design this Utopian structure, and they are NOT GOD ! Their world is full of good intentions that have shown all throughout history to be full of control, manipulation, and persecution. ONLY GOD can show mankind the kind of future that brings hope and peace and life. Only through our Faith In Christ can we find Life ! God’s Kingdom that lies ahead with the return of Jesus is a place where every believer will find Eternal Life and be in the Presence of Jesus Himself. A King that is loving and perfect in every way. It is not a place of manufactured pieces of a puzzle to build a Utopian existence. It is a PLACE OF COMPLETENESS as a citizen of the Kingdom Of God. A place of Worship and Holiness. A place of No Sin, but rather Righteousness !

FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT MATTER OF EATING AND DRINKING BUT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT. Romans 14:17

JESUS REPLIED, “ VERY TRULY I TELL YOU, NO ONE CAN SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD UNLESS THEY ARE BORN AGAIN. John 3:3

FOR HE HAS RESCUED US FROM THE DOMINION OF DARKNESS AND BROUGHT US INTO THE KINGDOM OF THE SON HE LOVES, IN WHOM WE HAVE REDEMPTION, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. Colossians 1: 13-14

AND IN THE DAYS OF THOSE KINGS THE GOD OF HEAVEN WILL SET UP A KINGDOM THAT SHALL NEVER BE DESTROYED, NOR SHALL THE KINGDOM BE LEFT TO ANOTHER PEOPLE. IT SHALL BREAK IN PIECES ALL THESE KINGDOMS AND BRING THEM TO AN END, AND IT SHALL STAND FOREVER. Daniel 2:44

Utopia is a plan conceived and carried out by Men. The Kingdom of God is conceived by our Creator who loves us. A Creator who had His one and only Son die for our failures and sin on a cross, that we might be made whole and worthy to be in relationship with God and have the Gift Of Eternal Life ! In our world today, I sense a quickening toward a collision between Utopia and God’s Kingdom. DO YOU ? Where do you stand ? Have you stopped to really consider your FUTURE, or are you trying to avoid the inevitable CHOICES you must make ? God’s Kingdom is for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior, Lord, And King. It means acknowledging your sin, dying to self, and being reborn in Christ. You Change. You walk and abide in Jesus. Not perfect, but focused on Repentance because you want to and need to. Your Heart wants a NEW YOU :) Seek God. Recognize His Love For You. Stop wasting your time and life on a man made Utopia that has no promise or hope. Find Eternal Life by surrendering your life and heart to Jesus. Utopia is a hopeless endeavor, but Jesus ? HE IS REAL, AND HE WANTS YOU TO BE HIS ! Seek Him/JAA

THEN THE KING WILL SAY TO THOSE ON HIS RIGHT, ‘COME , YOU WHO ARE BLESSED BY MY FATHER, INHERIT THE KINGDOM PREPARED FOR YOU FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. Matthew 25:34
