BODY, MIND, AND SOUL VS. SPIRIT

Have you ever contemplated where you spend most of your time ? I’m not talking about work, social media, Starbucks coffee, markets, or even hiding in quarantine. I’m talking about the deep core of your person and who you are. As carnal men and women, we may choose to spend our time in the realm of “ Flesh”. Flesh is the place where we most often encounter sin, iniquity, pleasure, selfishness, and often addiction. Addiction comes in many forms, but it is always something that plays with our mind, and moves in our bodily soul and produces “Emotion”. Emotion can be an overpowering part of our lives. God as we know is a “Spiritual Creator.” Our relationship with God finds it’s core strength and meaning as our individual “spirit” connects with God and His purpose and path for each of us individually. Our “spirit” connection to God is where we truly embrace Him and find TRUTH; and out of that Truth comes understanding, meaning, wisdom, and discernment on how we live our lives and where we put our focus. Our Personal Relationship with God through our rebirth in Jesus is what propels us out of our minds and souls and lets us walk across the bridge of Salvation into God’s Kingdom and Eternal Life.

THE SPIRIT OF GOD HAS MADE ME, AND THE BREATH OF THE ALMIGHTY GIVES ME LIFE. Job 33:4

THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD WILL REST ON HIM, THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING, THE SPIRIT OF COUNSEL AND STRENGTH, THE SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE AND THE FEAR OF THE LORD. Isaiah 11:2

I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU AND CAUSE YOU TO WALK IN MY STATUTES, AND YOU WILL BE CAREFUL TO OBSERVE MY ORDINANCES. Ezekiel 36:27

Our relationship with God requires a Spiritual Connection. It is a connection that God establishes with every single person who desires His Kingdom. It is a connection that is truly impossible for the mind to comprehend because the mind tries hard to make it thought and logic based. Without a spiritual Connection, God will never make sense, and will never come to “completeness” in someone. Many times I have shared the Gospel of Christ with people, and found they couldn’t grasp it, didn’t want it, or plainly rejected it. At times I wondered, “ am I not sharing this correctly ?” “ Am I being too forceful ?” “Why am I not connecting, when from the bottom of my heart, I so want them to know God and His Love !” And the Truth Is, that only God’s Spirit can open a man or woman’s heart to see Him and embrace Him, because His Truth lies in the Spirit.

AFTER BEING BAPTIZED, JESUS CAME UP IMMEDIATELY FROM THE WATER, AND BEHOLD, THE HEAVENS WERE OPENED, AND HE SAW THE SPIRIT OF GOD DESCENDING AS A DOVE AND LIGHTING ON HIM Matthew 3:16

DO YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE GOD’S TEMPLE, AND THAT GOD’S SPIRIT DWELLS IN YOU ? 1 Corinthians 3:16

YOU HOWEVER ARE NOT IN THE FLESH BUT IN THE SPIRIT, IF IN FACT THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLS IN YOU. ANYONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST DOES NOT BELONG TO HIM. Romans 8:9

Can you see how critical it is as a Christian to see your Spiritual heart ? In your Spiritual Relationship with God comes all your Truth, Power and Strength. If we strive to be filled more and more and listen more and more to God’s Spirit, we move toward Maturity and Completeness in Christ. HE DWELLS IN US, AND WE IN HIM. We just need to see it and seek it ! That comes from being with Jesus ALL THE TIME. In our daily lives, with all the circumstances, struggles, and blessings. Our Personal Relationship is multi-faceted. Father, Son, Holy Spirit. All find their way into our hearts through Spiritual Connection, and a Truth that becomes FAITH ! It all comes from Jesus. He is The Way and The Truth, and The Life. Are you “IN” the Spirit of God as you navigate your life, or are you in your mind, soul, and fleshly body ? I have tried to solve a lot of problems in my life by myself. I have asked God to help and not really been “convicted” or “convinced” that He could. It takes a deep desire to have Him write His Covenant on your heart and strive to Trust Him and Grow in your Faith. I Want It ! I Thirst For It ! And in His Mercy and Grace for me, every day, I fell His Spirit filling Me up….more and more. You See, none of us deserve it, and none of us can earn it. Only God, in His perfect love can provide it. Perhaps it is time to leave flesh behind, and seek God’s Spirit in your life. MAY YOU FIND IT AND LIVE IN IT ! BE FILLED/JAA

AND WHO HAS ALSO PUT HIS SEAL ON US AND GIVEN US HIS SPIRIT IN OUR HEARTS AS A GUARANTEE. 2 Corinthians 1:22
