THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR JUSTICE

Does it seem like mankind has been searching for justice almost since the time of creation ? Why is it that justice seems so elusive ? Justice is defined as “ the impartial administration and maintenance of what is just”. Seems pretty simple on the surface, until you begin to realize that there are many different versions for all of us regarding what is just. More and more we are also realizing that it is almost impossible to remain “impartial”. Indeed like so many things for mankind, justice is in the eyes of the beholder. This difficulty in justice has lead to senseless wars, senseless ethnic cleansing, senseless violence, and has lead mankind down the path of incredible unrighteousness. It seems that we as a people are so ready to find purpose in our differences, not peace in our commonalities. Is it not the goal of men in many instances to dominate and rule other men ? Needing to show each other how we have been wrongly treated, or vowing to protect our boundaries and borders. Pushing our political agendas, religious beliefs and agendas, social justice agendas. So many different ways of approaching right vs. wrong. We see it every day, even in our churches. It was there and prominent in the time period when Jesus was gathering His disciples, and sharing His teaching and message of The Kingdom Of God. To Jesus, the day to day differences among men paled in comparison to the message about “Kingdom”. Jesus made it clear that despite all that was going on in the world, those who would seek and follow God would have a different purpose and understanding.
BUT SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND ALL THESE THINGS WILL BE ADDED UNTO YOU. Matthew 6:33
YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER. THE SCEPTER OF YOUR KINGDOM IS A SCEPTER OF UPRIGHTNESS. Psalm 45:6
BEHOLD, A KING WILL REIGN IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND A PRINCE WILL RULE IN JUSTICE. Isaiah 32:1
THEREFORE LET US BE GRATEFUL FOR RECEIVING A KINGDOM THAT CANNOT BE SHAKEN, AND THUS LET US OFFER TO GOD ACCEPTABLE WORSHIP, WITH REVERENCE AND AWE. Hebrews 12:28
We spend so much time and effort trying to find solutions to our problems….and the problems seem almost endless. The things we are facing today are not new things. We have truly been in a continual state of sin and iniquity since the very beginning of our creation. We have struggled mightily to recognize each other’s value as God’s creation, and with that, our citizenship in His Kingdom. It takes a miraculous change and repentance to stand at the precipice of self and realize in our lives and our world that only God has the answers and the truth to life everlasting. Try as we might, we cannot overcome our iniquitous nature. Even as we look at our world constantly dealing with difficulties, still, we turn away from God and seek our own ways. DO YOU THINK THAT IT JUST MIGHT BE TIME TO STOP TRYING TO SOLVE EVERYTHING BASED ON THE WISDOM OF MANKIND ? IS IT TIME TO PLACE OUR TRUST IN GOD, AND LOOK FOR HIS KINGDOM ?
BEING ASKED BY THE PHARISEES WHEN THE KINGDOM OF GOD WOULD COME, HE ANSWERED THEM, “THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT COMING WITH SIGNS TO BE OBSERVED, NOR WILL THEY SAY, ‘LOOK, HERE IT IS !’ OR ‘THERE !’ FOR BEHOLD, THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS IN THE MIDST OF YOU.” Luke 17: 20-21
FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT A MATTER OF EATING AND DRINKING BUT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT. Romans 14:17
NOT EVERYONE WHO SAYS O ME, ‘LORD, LORD,’ WILL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, BUT THE ONE WHO DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN. Matthew 7:21
Does it strike you that as long as we seek our own solutions and our own way of determining righteousness that we are going to fall short of the mark ? The truth is that we don’t have the solutions. God has the solutions, and they are right in front of us in His Word, His Son, and His Kingdom. They are clear if we engage in his Commandments, His Character, and His Righteousness. His righteousness does not involve subjugation, differentiation, nor self adulation and power. His righteousness involves servanthood, repentance, love for Him and our neighbors, and seeking wisdom and purpose through faith in His Truth and His Holy Person. It is turning away from the anger filled words and self glorifying actions of men who seek power and control to become ambassadors of our God and creator. In Faith, seeking His Guidance and Will for our lives and our world. It means making a choice to stand up and offer Gods Kingdom Principles as a way forward to a better place for all of us.
Jesus is my Lord, Savior and King. I am reborn in Him. I am joyful and blessed in my life in Him, and just like everyone, I shake my head in sadness and frustration from time to time about just how far our world and my country has fallen off the rails….but….God is with me every day, and He is coming back. He will be coming to be among His true saints, and He will judge us all. Judgement for a believer is about how we have lived and shared and sewn into His Kingdom. For those who don’t know Him, judgement is wrathful, and final and eternal. If you are looking for a better world, and solutions for your life, find hope ! Jesus loves you and is waiting on you to embrace Him, repenting from your former ways and embracing His Ways. Seeking Solutions ? Seek God and His Kingdom ! Begin Your Journey Today.
