GOD LEADS US THROUGH TRANSITION

This past year has been an interesting and at times a difficult one for so many people in my life. Medical issues, Financial issues, Job changes, Relocation to different cities. The list goes on and on, and at times it can truly seem overwhelming. Even when one’s life is fairly stable, there are always the times when one can sense Change Coming. Transition. The very real understanding that as we embrace and live our lives, God allows “Seasons” to ebb and flow in our lives, and these seasons also impact us in our times as we SEEK GOD AND WALK IN HIS WAYS ! The funny thing about “Seasons” is that they all hold different things for us. Some seasons we love and want to hold on to forever. Others, we can’t wait to move through and be “Done” with them. One thing is for sure : Seasons always change and in each one GOD HAS A PERFECT PLAN FOR YOU, no matter how great or how difficult our seasons are. We can all understand and deal with our “Seasons”. The true challenge doesn’t really have to do with the seasons. THE TRUE CHALLENGE IS IN THE TRANSITION TIME ! It is the time when we are walking out of something, and have not been able to decipher What Is Next. That long road that we walk, but we have no defined “Destination” in sight. The amazing thing about God is that HE KNOWS PRECISELY WHERE WE ARE GOING :) He uses the Transition to mold us, strengthen us, and shape us toward His Will for us. The best part of Transition is that in those times we truly must be awake and in tune with God’s voice and His Word.

FOR EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON, AND A TIME FOR EVERY MATTER UNDER HEAVEN: A TIME TO BE BORN, AND A TIME TO DIE; A TIME TO PLANT AND A TIME TO PLUCK UP WHAT IS PLANTED; A TIME TO KILL, AND A TIME TO HEAL; A TIME TO BREAK DOWN AND A TIME TO BUILD UP; A TIME TO WEEP, AND A TIME TO LAUGH; A TIME TO MOURN AND A TIME TO DANCE; A TIME TO CAST AWAY STONES AND A TIME TO GATHER STONES TOGETHER; A TIME TO EMBRACE, AND A TIME TO REFRAIN FROM EMBRACING,,, Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8

AND GOD SAID, “LET THERE BE LIGHTS IN THE EXPANSE OF THE HEAVENS TO SEPARATE THE DAY FROM THE NIGHT. AND LET THEM BE FOR SIGNS AND FOR SEASONS, AND FOR DAYS AND FOR YEARS. Genesis 1:14

HE CHANGES TIMES AND SEASONS; HE REMOVES KINGS AND SETS UP KINGS; HE GIVES WISDOM TO THE WISE AND KNOWLEDGE TO THOSE WHO HAVE UNDERSTANDING. Daniel 2:21

“ FOR AS THE RAIN AND THE SNOW COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN AND DO NOT RETURN THERE BUT WATER THE EARTH, MAKING IT BRING FORTH AND SPROUT , GIVING SEED TO THE SOWER AND BREAD TO THE EATER, SO SHALL MY WORD BE THAT GOES OUT FROM MY MOUTH; IT SHALL NOT RETURN TO ME EMPTY, BUT IT SHALL ACCOMPLISH THAT WHICH I PURPOSE, AND SHALL SUCCEED IN THE THING FOR WHICH I SENT IT. Isaiah 55: 10-11

Our God is so perfect in His Authority and Creation. The seasons accomplish things ! Purpose and ideas are planted and watered. Wisdom and Knowledge are discovered and utilized. Things are broken down in our lives, while others are built up. GOD PROMISES US THAT HIS WORD INTO OUR LIVES IS INTENTIONAL AND WITH PURPOSE ! HIS WORD AND DIRECTION IS HOW WE AS CHRISTIANS MOVE THROUGH TRANSITION. Are you in a place of transition ? Are you moving from one season to another ? Trust me, if you aren’t right now, you will be at some point. I am currently in that time of Transition in my Walk With God. I have a sense that change is coming. I thirst and hunger to be doing more for His Kingdom. I am in need of more than the status quo. I am working on a program to build a God focused Vision Board that will help me define the Practical ways I can serve the Lord, vs the Passionate things I desire to accomplish, and finally the VISION I HAVE TO BE CLOSER TO HIM AND GO SO FAR IN FAITH AND TRUST THAT I WILL BE COMPLETELY OVERWHELMED BY HIS LOVE AND GRACE. I think the key to it all is in FAITH and TRUST. Knowing God well enough to take more time and effort toward Him. Even if you are wrapped up in your career, or your family, or your goals….at some point…God is going to Change Your Season. I can’t emphasize enough that YOU NEED A PERSONAL AND CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM TO MEET YOUR TRUE PURPOSE AND WALK YOUR TRUE PATH ! HE IS YOUR GUIDE.

YOUR WORD IS A LAMP TO MY FEET AND A LIGHT TO MY PATH. Psalm 119:105

MAKE ME TO KNOW YOUR WAYS O LORD; TEACH ME YOUR PATHS. LEAD ME IN YOUR TRUTH AND TEACH ME, FOR YOU ARE THE GOD OF MY SALVATION; FOR YOU I WAIT ALL DAY LONG. Psalm 25: 4-5

BY FAITH ABRAHAM OBEYED WHEN HE WAS CALLED TO GO OUT TO A PLACE THAT HE WAS TO RECEIVE AS AN INHERITANCE. AND HE WENT OUT, NOT KNOWING WHERE HE WAS GOING. Hebrews 11:8

Faith. Relationship. Hope. Trust. Belief. These are the things that GOD will give you if you have given your life to Him. When Jesus died on the cross, he took all our sin and iniquity with Him. Our weakness, our doubt, our fear. All of it gone, if you place your trust in Him as your Lord, Savior and King. I have given myself to Him. I find His Yoke to be so light, for He abides in me, and I am born anew into Him. My Transition brings me ever closer to Him, and the Joy of what I Know He Has Waiting For Me Is Beyond Exciting. I feel so blessed to serve Him with humility and obedience to wherever He takes me. My Prayer is that YOU may know Him and feel it too ! TRUST WITH FAITH/JAA
